[Plot/DEATH ENABLED] Storm the Base!

James felt a lone tear fall as the princess drew her final breath. A life had been snuffed, and at a young age. Considering an action that was in equal parts cowardly and necessity, he stepped back and had been staying away from the concurrent action, his shield providing adequate cover for the sniper and fox-mage, as per Gallahad's instructions. A blur of events and now crows flooded the rooms, being picked away.

Oh, Marcus looked a bit hurt. A chain formed and dashed towards the man, an attempt to heal what damage had been done. He had noticed Kei throw a wire at the man, so as to not disrupt his plan, he only aimed for a glancing touch on Marcus. That should be enough to for a quick heal.

From the same length of chain, more formed to swat away whatever crows had drawn near.

The small fox spoke, and James only gave a slight nod in response to her words. Destruction and mayhem seemed to be the forte for the current group and he held little doubt that they could squeeze by.

So it seemed the boy had intuition, not surprising since he was one of the only ones to have remained rational in this situation. Hunter could respect that as a man of science. As the kid shoved the bird with hunter in it away, it began to fall to the ground, a weak thing it was. Hunter himself was ejected, landing next to where the injured bird had plopped onto the ground. The remaining crows began to drop like rocks, the influence of Hunter's semblance finally released for better or for worse. A low chuckle escaped from the depths of the Villain's chest. He pulled out his laser pistol, shooting it to his side at the sniper's bodyguard's arm. Meanwhile, his other gun was aimed at the boy messing with his artwork. "I'll tell ya what, you're pretty smart kid. Probably would have benefitted from my endeavors. It's a shame you won't live to see how." Hunter took his shot. A laser beam to the face should knock that guy down a peg.

(OOC: Hunter is found! Since marcus found him first, ill let you guys choose whether or not your attacks of the wrong crows hit, only because im not sure how many shots would be fired simultaneously. You can choose to leave it for story, or Kupo it yourself and get back any used up dust/SP. This isnt any plot gimmick or anything, this is me trying to be nice. XD)

Marcus heard the crows fall, and briefly glanced over. He promptly froze because Hunter's laser gun appeared a lot bigger than it actually was now that it pointed right at his face.

"Oh." He managed to utter.

"I'll tell ya what, you're pretty smart kid. Probably would have benefitted from my endeavors. It's a shame you won't live to see how." Hunter taunted him.

There were several retorts that immediately sprang to Marcus' mind. One, Hunter was the one surrounded, outnumbered and outgunned here. Another that sprang to mind was that the guy just literally shot her highness in the face not five minutes ago, and approval from a demonstrated kid killer just felt plain wrong. Another favourite was the plain old 'bite me', short and to the point.

Before Marcus could say anything however, Kei's wire wrapped around his middle, so all that actually came out of his mouth was a thoroughly confused "Buh?" followed by a manly scream of terror.

As he at the time had his hands full tying up the queen clone whatever it was, he held on in a death grip and took her with him too on his improvised aerial ballet. Something hit him in the back with the force of a graceful dance across a meadow. 'Was that a chain?!' One less than graceful introduction to the floor later Marcus came to a halt roughly at Kei's feet. He pondered what the _____ just happened, then decided it wasn't really relevant in light of the following three facts:

1. Hunter was revealed to them in a position with minimal cover
2. No one risked friendly fire anymore now that Marcus was pulled out of the way.
3. Most of them possessed ranged firepower and or weaponry.

"OPEN FIRE!" Marcus yelled, scrabbling to his feet to get a good shot himself. Sadly with the clone on top of him this proved to be enough of a challenge in it's own right.

With Marcus safely out of the way, Fuyuko pulled her four bombs out of her satchel. two flash bombs and two smoke bombs. ...what to do... She selected a flash bomb and threw it, "take cover!" She ducked behind James as the bomb landed about three inches from his left foot. She had closed her eyes, covered her ears and opened her mouth all before it reached halfway there. The bang reverberated through her body as she scooped up Rebellion and flicked the selector switch to burst. placing the cross hairs over Hunter's face, she fired. not waiting to see if the bullets took effect, she ducked down and whispered to the other girl, "ideas?" Fuyuko dug through her bag, hoping to find something that she would find useful. However, when you can fit your every worldly possession in a small bag, spare parts for McGyver- ing something is almost nonexistent.  sighing in frustration, she picked up her rifle again and fired two more bursts at the enemy.

Gallahad checked his scroll, the motion making a laser bolt narrowly miss, You have got to be kidding me he didn't bother looking at the sender, knowing already that the man was dead serious about this. breaking formation, Gallahad raced at Hunter as Fuyuko fired her last burst. He tossed Divine Wrath in the air and led with a punch before reaching back and grabbing a hand. Bringing his full kight, he swung and prayed that he wouldn't kill his ally in tthe little stunt trick. "Next time you want to do something stupid call for someone else" He said as he picked up his weapon and stepped clear of he fire lane. He hoped the other guy had enough sense to not get caught in the crossfire that was sure to happen.

A look of madness on his face, Fenrir ran towards Hunter right behind Gallahad. He jumped up and grabbed the unusual pole arm and wove two impact speed boost glyphs one them. He felt Gallahad grab him and swing with all his might. The combined force of the two of them made for a terrifying speed and a blow that would hurt like hell if it connected. He laughed like a mad man while letting the momentum carry him to roll between Hunter's legs behind the scientist and aimed a kick at the back of his left knees. letting the glyphs drop, he reached for the undrained pistol and tried to relieve Hunter of his weapon. that was aces. pure, unfiltered,  aces. he backpedaled to a position where he'd be less likely to get hit by the gun fire.

Amarante was impressed by the Kaminokaze no Ryūsei that Fenrir and Gallahad executed. She hadn't expected a fast follow up on Hunter's revealing and was caught off guard for a second but quickly re composed and created a dust glyph. She let her fire dust flow and it took the shape of four butterflies  which flitted around Hunter and then burst like tiny bombs. She watched as her only attack got off and she did a quick Mental checklist of everyone:

Marcus, disengaged form the crows and currently unable to fight
Kei: loaded and ready for Hunter's next move
James: conserving aura to heal people
Fuyuko: ready to shoot Hunter  dead
Gallahad: ready to tear Hunter limb from limb
Fenrir: seemingly unharmed despite being used as an extension for a club.
Lapis: trying to restrict Hunter's mobility

And then there was her, trying to be useful in any way possible.

So the problem with so many Hunters, however untrained, aggroed on to a person at once, was the absolute need of crowd control and the complications that arose with a lack of it. It took a lot of focus to be able to give some to many enemies at once, and unfortunately, it only took one surprise to start a chain of pain. What Hunter didn't expect was a joint attack from that lone wolf assassin and a buddy, and he was stunned before he even knew what hit him. From there, the green-haired villain was unable to see or react to any subsequent attack from the kids. He fell to a knee, but he was still fine. His Aura was still up and running like a trusty machine that had been with you for so long, you start to think it'll never break.

With a deep breath, he started laughing. However, this was no laughing matter. This was no comedic laugh mind you, this was an angry, hateful, almost maniacal laugh. Taking so much damage had frustrated Mr. Hunter Smith. Frustration quickly turned to rage, and an enraged man had a tendency to trade rationality in for hate. "It's HILARIOUS how you IDIOTS insist on opposing me!" He yelled, slowly getting up. "Don't you get it?! You've lost! No matter the outcome here today, I've already won! My world would have been Perfect! And All of you would have been none the wiser! All credit would have gone to the king of course. Life would have proceeded as normal! And you know what? It still will."  The man pointed to Periwinkle's lifeless body. "You see that? That is my trophy. THAT IS MY TROPHY." He then hit a button on his wrist cuff and the second Peri that had once been sleeping soundly in a pod woke up. She pulled apart any restraints and joined Hunter, who twirled her around in a dance. "You fools, I was gonna give her back, but you had to interfere. YOU HAD TO RUIN EVERYTHING. At least, you had to Try." Suddenly Hunter disappeared, and the new princess collapsed to the ground. Hunter stayed silent just long enough to cause unsettlement before bursting out of one of the animal cages as a Tiger.

OOC: I Knoooooooooooooooow It's Late! I'm sorry, this is what happens when my life falls apart. But now, I think I remember where I was going with this topic so here we go~ I'm not attacking in this post to allow New people to jump in since I understand the people that were in the plot may not all still be around.

Hunter's perfect world? What was he smoking? Amarante looked at her allies and then the lifeless bodies in front of them. She figured that the attacks had to at least greatly reduce his strength. So then. Summoning all her power, she cast a barrier around the core group. and another, and another. The sphere wouldn't last long, and Gallahad and Fenrir were outside it unfortunately. She looked to James and Marcus, the smart ones in the group apparently, "Any ideas before he smashes through?" She tilted her head in thought for a moment and then mixed her fire dust with the shield. Now the tiger would feel the burn if it wanted to break through the shield. SHe panted a bit, slightly out of breath that the exertion was taking its toll on her.

Fenrir had a look of maniacal glee plastered to his face, "Boyo, there has never been nor ever will be a perfect world. The sinking depths of darkness and deapair always linger and....oh bloody hell." a thought ran through his mind...an odd...bizzare thought, "you were going to possess the princess..HAHAHA! OH YOU SICK LITTLE TWIST. THAT IS SO RICH. YOU WANT TO BE A BITCH. BUT NOW YOU'LL HAVE A STITCH. YOU AIN'T GONNA SWITCH." he gave the finger to the tiger and started rummaging through the stuff on the desk next to him. Aura regeneration took time. Time was what he had. The world of perfection would never exist but there was always time to kill.

Gallahad went slackjawed, What...the...hell....... The wolf faunus clearly had loose screws but even madness had truth behind it at times. And to be honest, he really couldn't think of any other reason for what was going on and his mind basically clocked out for the day. The tiger appeared and Gallahad snapped back to reality and braced himself. Tigers, fast, strong, very dangerous in these confined areas with tables to hide under and imperfect lighting from past actions. a blaze appeared to his right, someone had created a sphere of fire around the main group. That eased the knight's mind somewhat as he put his back to the wall and adopted the stance and style of a conservative heavy infantryman. Let the beast try his worst. At least Hunter had revealed that the princess from the pod was a fake. Still not proof the first princess was real, but that made their jobs slightly easier.

This Faunus kid was probably even crazier than Hunter himself was. Possess the Princess? As if. Hunter was unable to do that even if he wanted to, And he was after more than just the princess so taking her body wouldn't work at all. Of course, Hunter would not bother to correct the young man, not when he could just slaughter him.

A wall of flames appeared suddenly, seeming to protect some of the trainees from the striped beast. That is to say some, not all. The wolf kid rummaging through Hunter's old tax papers had been excluded. The Tiger man pounced, Caws outstretched for an attack. This Kid clearly did not understand the situation, ignoring his team and Hunter himself, making crazy claims like he knew Hunter's plans, and going Through Hunter's stuff like he was going to find anything. Hunter knew better than to leave his plans and designs out in plain sight, or even in the same kingdom. Still, the fact that the Faunus kid had dismissed hunter meant that while he might have been expecting an attack, a reaction to one would prove to be difficult in any reasonable situation.

Fenrir felt the air shift as the tiger came at him. He rolled left and clapped his hands together, a wind pillar formed around  the wolf and the tiger, "I'm the god of the winds, kitty. And the god of winds has caught you." He then formed a solid glyph within the pillar on the floor. Despite its name, the solid glyph wasn't really solid. It happens to actually be hyper-condensed air. Fenrir had long since mastered the trick of maintaining his footing on the glyph. Doubtful that Hunter would have even found a situation remotely like this. Miniature wind cannons formed within the pillar and started moving about erratically while firing. This wasn't exactly ideal in retrospect, seeing as the pillar was only ten meters across and Hunter might find a way to turn the hastily made arena to his advantage. Fenrir tapped his fingers, "What would happen if I simply collapsed these glyphs? the air pressure has to go somewhere no?" He tilted his head in thought, "I suppose since the air is gaining a static charge, if Lightning rod over there were to use his power we'd both be in a world of hurt." He hoped his not so subtle message got through.

She set her barrel on her bag and stared hard at the tiger. the effects of the two barriers between her and her target meant that the bullet would fly uncontrollably. Her implant constantly recalculated each second as the aura from the shield around them, the wind barrier around the insane faunus and the tiger, and something within the barrier changed how the shot would go. She slowed her breathing and focused hard. She shifted her aim to where she expected the tiger to move and waited for a brief moment when the interference would be at its weakest. She inhaled and then slowly released her breath as she gently squeezed the trigger. The bullet punched through both barriers and flew true, whether or not it hit the tiger was up to chance now. She waited again for another chance, this time moving within the shield around the main group to shoot from a different angle. A long wait, and fire. She set her gun to the side and pulled out her canteen, "Is it just me, or does it sound like Hunter is a bit...too idealistic? Like the kind of person people use to achieve their own ends while hiding behind suckers?" She set up to take another shot and waited. The moment must've passed because once again, she wasn't able to calculate her shots.
