Alright! Week three of Syne's Spring Fest has officially started. This week we are doing something a little... odd. We're having competitive drinking games! Muahahahahahaha!

Anyways, as such, before you all try to drink eachother under your respective tables we have to go over the rules for the competition.

HOW TO PLAY THE GAME

After two participants have challenged eachother, and only two, the game begins! The participants must make their own topic on the festival grounds and label it "Drinking Game" to post in, the rest of the topic name is whatever they want it to be. Go nuts. The Brewmaster Havel will kindly provide you with all the beverages you need for the duration of the event, free of charge. (Syne is paying for the alcohol after all wink wink) Each player has a set "Sobriety" number they must keep track of each post. "Sobriety" is the same number as your aura, therefore people with larger auras can hold their drinks more. Each post is made by rolling the 10 sided dice, the resulting number is the drink you drink, and whatever other results happen from that particular number. The numbers are as follows.

  1. Water - You don't get more drunk this post, but you don't get more sober either
  2. Havel's Flaming Tonic - -20 sobriety, next drink you drink is half as effective, rounded up
  3. Havel's Light: -5 sobriety, the drinker starts to crave a better tasting drink, as this one is disgusting, next drink they drink adds -5 sobriety to it's effects, even water.
  4. Havel's Luscious Lager: -10 sobriety, no other effects
  5. Havel's Euphoric Honey: -15 sobriety - The drinker is in a carefree state for the next post and will drink anything placed in front of them, even something chosen by their opponent.
  6. Jimmy Joe Jam's Kickin' Bewz: -10 sobriety, -10 intelligence for the duration of the game... Whoops.. I mean this moonshine like drink gives you minor hallucinations.
  7. Code #1367: This experimental drink doesn't affect your sobriety at all, but it does cause you to mutate in a strange way for the duration of the match. How you mutate is up to you, as long as it is cosmetic only.
  8. Dusty's Rum: -20 sobriety, you have the uncontrollable urge to speak like a pirate in your next round
  9. Hair o' de' Dog: +10 sobriety, no special effects other than it tastes nasty
  10. Havel's Instant Hangover Remover TM: +20 sobriety, you roll for your opponent's next drink (So IC you pour it for them), and it's effects are doubled for them. Including drinks that make them more sober.

Now, after your drink is decided your opponent rolls for their drink (Or you roll for them if you get a 10) and then you both must role play out drinking the drinks and suffering the effects along with rolling for your next drinks, whether it's just becoming more drunk, sober, or the other side effects of the more questionable drinks. We all are roleplayers here after all, you gotta roleplay it! The first person to reach 0 sobriety passes out and loses.

Other Things of Note

  • Regeneration does not work for sobriety like it does for Aura. You don't regenerate from being drunk, the only way for you to become sober is to wait it out naturally (After the match of course), or roll one of the sobering drinks.
  • The winner does get a prize. Each win nets you a nice 500 Lien. Win 5 games and you get a nice cuddly pet to call your own. (It must be run by the moderators or the admins of course)
  • You must keep track of your wins with links to your threads in which you won in the Drinking Game Wins thread in order for them to count, it makes things easier on us staff.

Alright! Have fun everyone! Next week will be the final week of Spring Fest so enjoy it while it lasts!
