Heath was in a good mood, which was obvious by the fact that his tail was out. He almost always hid his tail, to be on the safe side. The tail, itself, was the normal yellow with black spots. He was hanging from a tree in the middle of the courtyard, with his legs holding him up. He was doing this because he was bored, there was nothing to do. Shooting his bow is not the greatest of entertainment, and heck, it was only noon. Of course, that meant Heath had been up for nearly six hours already, and had done most of what he needed to do. Albeit, that wasn't much. Training, small class, he had nothing left to do for the day, and what was worse, it was completely sunny outside.

"There has to be someone out here, 'osh."

He said, still hanging. He would do vertical push ups, but he didn't feel like working out, not at that point. He'd, honestly, wait for someone to show up and conversate, and make his life that much easier because of social contact. After all, people meant talking, and talking usually led to friends. Friends were always good, in his head. Hell, Davies was always in trouble, and he still loved Davies like a brother, so to say that almost anyone could be his friend, well. That wouldn't be very wrong.

Summer was never Liona's favorite season. The sun up high in the sky always seemed to be pretty grumpy this time of year, out to melt and/or fry every living thing on remnant. Of course, it also did not help that Liona was not used to this island nation's heat yet. What she wouldn't give to be somewhere Atlas right now. She felt sticky nd gross, and no matter how she fixed up her thick golden locks, it just made things worse. Her only escape was her blissfully air conditioned Dorm room, but then that did nothing for her in the way of entertainment, especially with the world's broadcasting being all wonky and regular classes not starting up again for another week or two.

So what to do? The lion faunus shuffled over to her window, pulling it open and sticking her head out. Meh.... it wasn't TOO hot out today, at least for now. Liona might survive a short stroll through the courtyard. She slipped into some orange flip flop sandals and made her way toward the door, wearing simply a solid orange tank tops and some black denim shorts. Well, let's make the most of this boring summer day.

As she left the dormitory halls and entered the school's park like courtyard, she noticed that the population was starting to grow. as school came closer, students new and old started returning from their summer breaks. While Liona for the most part enjoyed the solitude, she was not against the return of some life, that was for sure. In anycase, as she walked along the sidewlk path, she noticed something strange in one of the trees, something long and silver. Upon closer inspection it was hair, and upon even closer inspection the hair was revealed to be belonging to a faunus hanging from a tree. The sight was a bit ridiculous, Liona had to admit. She giggled, trying to stifle it by covering her mouth but to no avail. "Comfortable, are we?"

The slightly humid summer air didn't bother Fleur as much as it probably bothered others. Growing up in the swamps of Mistral this heat felt like home, which to be fair she didn't particularly like to remember but still. She stepped outside the dorm building and stretched her arms wide to bask in the sunlight. She was in a particularly good mood today, Fleur had decided a little walk through the Syne grounds and then maybe down into the town would be good for her. Fleur took her first steps and continued to enjoy the environment around her. She toyed with her sword hilt behind her and her flats made a clacking sound that was however drowned out as they hit pavement. The courtyard of the Academy was actually quite busy as students came and went, some alone and others talking in groups. Fleur naturally was by herself as she continued towards the gates of the Academy. She carefully weaved her way around different groups trying to not hit anyone. She wanted to get out and onto the trail quickly, hopefully reaching the town before it got to late to make the trek back to Syne.

Just as she was about to leave, a scene caught her eye, she stopped. What looked to be two faunus conversing near a tree, one of them was literally IN the tree. Something about the pair had caught her attention, she moved her blonde hair from her eyes to get a better look. She didn't want to be caught staring; that would be rude. Fleur started to approach them, she didn't know what compelled her to do so, she didn't even know them, she didn't even want to talk to them! Her feet had minds of their own for now and before she knew it she was standing before the pair. She stared awkwardly and if it wasn't for the hustle and bustle of the crowds behind her she was sure they could audibly hear her gulp. Fleur was silent for a moment unsure of what to do now.

'Say HELLO!' her own voice screamed at her. She gave a nervous smile.

"H-hi, am I interrupting s-something?" she choked out.

'Oh god... please be nice... please be nice... don't think I'm weird.' she pleaded within herself, how she seemed to find herself in this situation was beyond her but she was committed now, she had to go through.

The fanus hadn't anticipated such a showing.  He certainly didn't mind, though. He looked at the fanus woman who had walked up, and nodded. He was, in fact, comfortable. It wasn't uncommon for such a gathering, but it had happened fast. He shifted himself, using his core strength, so that he was properly sitting on the branch. He looked to the human who arrived, and decided to greet both in tandem.

" 'Allo. Name's Heath. You? And you ain't interrupting nothing, don't you worry."

The fanus smiled, actually happy that such a crowd of two people amassed in mere moments. This meant, simply, he wasn't alone which alone made him happy. Albeit, he felt an odd tension that was going to end up happening. Two fanus and a human, and with his luck, this lady fanus hated humans. Hopefully, he was wrong. He figured he wasn't, though. It just wasn't his last few years, so he figured that the lady fanus hated humans, and that already had a bad taste in his mouth. He didn't show any of it, merely out of respect.

He knew how hard it was to be a fanus, after all. He was a fanus, albeit one that accepted being a fanus meant being teased, and he just proved himself though normal means instead of being violent and such. It's pointless to be violent, and it's pointless to hate every single human.

Almost as soon as she had arrived, another voice had manifested from behind Liona, wanting to join in on the conversation that was surely about to commence. Still grinning, the blonde faunus turned around to see who had come to accompany the two animal people. However, such a grin quickly flipped into a glaring frown upon discovering who had appeared. Well, not "who" per say, as the person herself was not the issue. It was WHAT she was that Liona had a problem with. Curse this school and its human majority. All she needed was a nice breather outside, maybe a way to conquer her boredom, but it did not take long for Liona's plans to fall into ruin.

The human girl had asked if she was interrupting anything by approaching them, though at that point there was not much to interrupt in the first place. Well you are certainly interrupting my good day, The lion thought to herself. Of course, while Liona was visibly bothered, her companion in the tree, who would go on to introduce himself as Heath, did not seem quite as irked. In fact, he assured the human that she was fine, not really interrupting anything which was of course true. Still, Liona chose to ignore her and greet Heath as he had greeted her. Leave her alone and she'll go home, she mentally recited. Turning he back to the human girl, she gave her reply to the second faunus. "Pleasure to meet you, Heath. You can just call me Liona."

" 'Allo. Name's Heath. You? And you ain't interrupting nothing, don't you worry."

Fleur smiled slightly at the Faunus in the tree named Heath.

"Hi, my n-name Fleur. N-nice to meet y-you." just being herself and not to mention the slightly awkward position she found herself in Fleur of course slightly stuttered out her words. She shrunk backwards at the clear disdain that the second Faunus on the ground was giving her, even if Fleur was socially awkward and not the best in these sorts of situations she defiantly could pick up on the negative vibes coming from the Faunus girl who simply ignored her and introduced herself to Heath who was still currently sitting in the tree.

"Pleasure to meet you, Heath. You can just call me Liona."

Fleur wasn't particularly bothered by this Liona's treatment, she had experienced such treatment before, just of course not by her. She wanted to try to get some words in with Heath, he seemed nice enough but she didn't want to upset Liona. Fleur just debated leaving, maybe it was for the best? No, she'd try at least one more time, maybe try just posing a simple question that didn't make her sound stupid and uninformed. She turned and looked up at Heath.

"W-what are you doing up in t-that tree anyway?" she had actually said that...when she just told herself that she wasn't going to be an uninformed loser. He was a Faunus, he probably liked it and did it even really matter why he was up there? What a stupid question. Fleur covered her eyes with her hands momentarily. This encounter was just going from bad to worse...

Azure Phoenix

Azure Phoenix
Azure was having fun chasing his semi-pet Kitty Tobby "Come here Tobby I just wanna tir this bandana around your neck!" he shouted skating behind the the cat while avioding people at the same time. The chase led him into town and into a park with kids (Oh man these chase always end up taking me outside the campus somehow.) he thinks to himself as he uses his glyph to boost his speed so he could get past the kids a lot faster (Oh no I can't see Tobby anymore!!) he thought to himself as he jumped over a rather big kid playing in the sand box "Tobby were are you buddy I just want to tie this around you." he shouted skating side to side.

"Mew" Azure turned around to see Tobby sitting on top of a cab that just drove off "Tobby come back here am not done with you yet!!!" he yelled skating after it as fast as he can (Hey its heading back to the school awesome!) he thought as he smiled "Glyph God Speed!" he said jumping up as he paced a glyph under himself only to rocket off. As he started to catch up to the car he noticed that one of his wheels was about to break so he grabbed Tobby off the car and held him tight "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP!!!" he cried as his wheel broke, Azure knew he wasn't gonna like the outcome so he aimed himself at a tree that some Blond was standing at. So when he fell he tucked and rolled into the tree letting his back hit it while still holding on to Tobby "Are you okay Tobby?" he asked as he looked at the cat and it just "mew" as it licked his face.
