About the Doctor:Dr Venice is an incredibly serious human woman. She has an unbelievably analytical mind, when she's at work she's there to work and refuses to take even momentary breaks. She won't joke with you, she won't laugh with you but conversely she won't waste her time shouting at you if you mess up; she'll send you away with a point of her finger and deal with matters herself. She is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to medicine, as any doctor must be, but she is a rare and special case. Her aura was unlocked but her semblance is incapable of healing; all of her medical skill is derived from practice and learning rather than touching a person and regrowing her flesh. Her semblance is one passed through her family who up to her were hunters for generations, creating and manipulating large bodies of salt water.
This does lead to her one and only scruple, she is not particularly fond of most healing semblances or their users; in particular those that don't require skill and simply require contact with an injury. This is understandable as she had to go through years of medical practice, learning to synthesize medicines chemically and perform surgeries, while these people were born with innate prowess. As a result of this, when in the presence of one who claims or is shown to have an immediate healing semblance, she will work her hardest to outclass them. In these cases she will typically aim to medicate people with diseases or permanent disabilities which cannot be fixed by such a semblance including; serious spinal injuries, the loss of limbs, brain injuries, mental disorders or vision related problems. This is not out of pride but to show people the limits of their capabilities and encourage them to do further research into the field of medicine rather than rely on their powers. She believes practice is more important than base skills and will always overcome them in the end.
