Overall Personality: Zan is a quiet person, he prefers to be left alone for the most part and having a very small group of friends. Generally he can be found training with his silverhorn pistols or running around the school wearing weights in order to increase his stamina and speed.
He holds no prejudice against the Faunus race and finds both sides of the Faunus Rights protests to be partially in the wrong. He indeed wants equal rights for all, but the way the White Fang are going about it, he finds extremely wrong.
He finds his own race’s abuse of the Faunus equally wrong and would go out of his way to help any Faunus in need that’s being abused by a human. He knows they lash out most of the time thinking he’s only pitying them because of what had happened, but he would do it for anyone.
Zan generally is a happy person even if he doesn’t show it on his face. He prefers to be the guy that everyone can depend on and can get along with, even though he doesn’t like socializing outside of his small group of friends.

Due to that, they do not have a regular cartridge for bullets. They however have a tube within the hilts of the pistols to inject a small amount of dust into the chamber to form a bullet.

- Zan’s story began nearly eighteen years ago on the night of his birth. Grimm attacked the small village where his parents lived. The huntsmen and women were taken by complete surprise. Not many of them make it out of the village. Only one civilian made it out alive. The commotion and the stress from the running and the Grimm forced Zan’s mother into premature labor a month early. A Boarbatusk, struck Zan’s father down as he put his mother into the emergency vehicle that the village had for emergencies like the attack. One of the huntswomen by the name of Scarlet Drack, helped his mother give birth.
Due to the trauma of the night, and her extreme heartbreak of her husband dying, all Zan’s mother, could do was name Zan before dying leaving the young boy an orphan. Scarlet, who was gravely injured because of the attack, chose to retire into the Capital City of Bellmuse and to train her new son to be a huntsman and to defend the innocents of the world.
While growing up, Zan had proved himself a very active boy often running around the capital city with the other children in the neighborhood of where he lived.
During his teenage years, Zan developed his semblance of creating bullets out of his aura and use the bullets inside guns of different types. Zan could even select what caliber and the shape of the bullets that he could create. Scarlet took Zan, to a store in order to get him a ranged weapon of some kind so he could train with it before heading to his primary training school.
Zan excelled at the training school he had went to and is now on the verge of joining Syne Academy. Zan had been excited about finally heading to Syne Academy, and had been in the academy the last semester.

- It was Dust, as he walked through the Finnek Forest looking for Grimm to fight. Zan stood tall for his age, being six foot even. He wore leather clothing in order to somewhat protect himself from the claws and fangs of the creatures that he was looking for.
Unbuttoning his overcoat due to a noise from behind him, he threw it open and withdrew two long pistols from the holsters strapped to his torso. Turning around, he saw a pack of three beowolves. Unleashing a single earthen disk bullet at the center Beowolf’s head, it slices through the beast’s head.
After seeing the beast go down, Zan turns before running from the Grimm. Roaring with rage at the downfall of the Grimm between them, they give chase to the Huntsman in training.
Turning suddenly, Zan lashes out with one of his pistols while wrapping his aura around the bullets within the chambers of his pistols, he starts to fire the aura infused rounds at the beasts catching them in several places, and falling them.
Pressing a button the empty vials of dust fall out of the hilts before he sheathes a pistol to insert another vial of Earth dust in one then the other one. Drawing his pistols, Zan walks off to find more Grimm to fight.
