Koko Hanazusaki

Koko Hanazusaki
Koko was in the middle of lighting a cigarette when he was stuck with the splintering hail, the wood piercing his neck and the blood leaked all over his suit. He stood still, almost as if he were dead, and his face contorted. He looked down at his suit, now ruined with blood. The cheerful attitude died there, and was replaced with the murderer.

"This was my dead friends suit, you ******* piece of ****."

Koko reached up and grabbed the wood spike, tearing it from his throat and the fatal wound hissed and bubbled, dealing with the sound of searing flesh. He spat out the remaining blood, and his eyes that once held laughter now held murderous intent. The lightning bolt struck, and he took the damage unmoving, and began laughing a creepy yet sickening laugh. The lightning bolt did little to blind him as, well, he was already color blind. It only was a little brighter to him than a flashlight. He pulled the now beyond repairable jacket off, and pulled up his sleeves to reveal his mechanical arm, and gripped the handle of abomination. He cracked his neck softly, lighting the cigarette, and as soon as it was lit he was gone, rushing the front lines with a hellish speed and side stepped the water strike. As he broke the frontline and came close to the men he discharged his semblance, the speed reduction and disorientation exploded with a silent vapor around them covering a 10 meter radius. He rushed the woodworker, cutting the inside of his mouth enough to fill it with blood and he spat the blood at his face in an attempt to blind the henchman.

"You better hope they arrest you, because I'm not gonna play that game! I want to feed you your friends intestines you prick! And enjoy my blood, it's flooded with diseases!"

He lied about the disease part. Koko held a vile smile on his face, flicking the blade over to the serrated side and slashed at the skinny mans face, flicking the blade back over to the sharpened side and swung twice to try and remove the mans legs, then finished his series of attacks with a lightning fast thrust.

"I don't give two damns about the girl, I just want you to die."

Chloe Erinys

Chloe Erinys
Chloe had been munching on some of the miniature pies that were around. Some people were walking around with a ton of them so that the guests could pick some up. The first time one of the servant came with the tray, the avian faunus thought she was offering her the whole thing and tried to pick up the whole tray. She was super embarrassed after that and stuck to the actual table with the cheese and ridiculously small pies, especially liking the chicken ones. At least she was dressed correctly in the end, but to the few people that tried talking to her, they probably thought she was either mute or weird, since she avoided talking at all so they wouldn’t hear her accent.

In the end, free food, so yay, but social interaction with the high class, booh. The whole thing turned to an unexpected even though, when a high pitched scream was heard all around. People started running to the gardens, Chloe included, but since she wasn’t armed she stayed back at first. She saw one guy call in his locker, so she tried to do the same. She never used that thing function before so she wasn’t sure she was doing it correctly. Her scroll made a beep, telling her that the locker was sent to the coordinates she entered. Looking toward the school, she waited… and waited… Looking again on the scroll, she saw a map saying her locker had arrived. “What? Why did it land on an island?” Well, no equipment it seemed.

Chloe spotted a few guards with weapons but she would probably be attacked if she tried to take one. Well she wasn’t that bad in hand to hand combat, but having not armor and no weapon, she didn’t think she’d be the best suited to fight, there were already armed Hunters fighting, though no one seemed to think about trying to get the girl out of there. Frowning at their lack of common sense, she dashed in, using a bit of her semblance to speed herself up with a controlled wind burst, also shielding her from any fire around the field.

She ran straight at the two men after they launched their attacks so she wasn’t in the danger zone once. Coming close, she jumped to land a flying knee strike to the bigger guy’s face while still coming at very high velocity. On contact, she used her fists, curling her fingers as to land two strong precise hits to the man joints and pressure points in the arm that was holding the girl. The strikes weren’t done to damage, aiming more for the knee-jerk reaction that would force him to release their captor, but were still strong to do it. As she was attacking, she felt the heat rise, not thinking much about it at first since there was already a lot of fire around, but it was actually an attack from one of her "allies". A fire wave was comming at them, so she had to move fast.

Following her strikes, Chloe would then attempt to grab the girl and jump out of the way so that the others may unleash all their might. As long as she won’t be able to grab the girl, she’d stay her ground and keep trying. If she didn't manage, she would shield the girl from the fire, ready to use her semblance for it if needed.

By some stroke of luck, her wide brimmed hat was still firmly on her head.

Henchmen

Henchmen
As a girl burst out the palace exit, rushing toward the duo, they couldn't help but raise a brow. Did she really think that engaging in such an obvious open assault would get her anywhere? How foolish. The large man brought his right arm up, the one in which he held his chain, and took her kicking attack. As the girl went for the shoulder strikes however the man's arm did loosen... however, his companion was prepared; pulling the girl backward and into his clutches. As the girl landed however she would find that a punch with the crook's chain wrapped around it flew straight for the side of her head before the pair took a step back. Certainly getting her out of their immediate vicinity

As the wave of heat surged forward, the leaner of the two men opted to simply drop the girl behind his ally; stepping forward with his water crystal in hand.  Not using the dust to attack, but using it in order to defend the pair from the oncoming firestorm he crushed it before casting it forward; an almost waterfall like shield rising before them. The shield served it's purpose, turning to steam as the wave burst passed them, however the tree had taken far too much of a beating by this point. Hearing the heaving and creaking of burning wood the two men rushed forward, the large man grabbing the girl and pulling her forward by the vines which bound her, though they were now in a lot of bother.

A man surged forward, armed with a sword and some form of bionic arm. As he did a sluggish feeling washed over the pair, however the tactics of their formation held true. As the bloody projectile flew forward to blind the thin man he sidestepped left, catching the man's blade in his own. The large man raised his empty hand, a bolt of lightning flew straight for the young man's face. Even if the bolt missed it's mark, to be in such close proximity of the sound and flash would most certainly take it's tole.

The thin man used this as an opportunity to burst passed the crazed one, purple sword in hand. He had charted this area well, both before and during to their kidnapping attempt. The area had five trees, the one in the center which had been destroyed and one in each of the area's four corners. Bordering the entire area however were rose beds, filled with prickly thorns. An idea had quickly came to mind, but he had to clear the path and get in range.

As he ran forward he threw down a crystal of water dust, immediately a huge rippling wave burst out before him. Five meters in diameter and racing across the ground. Turning what had become scorched earth once more cool, this however had the added affect of filling the arena with steam, steam which he knew would clear far faster than leaving the flames to burn out. The wave was set on course to collide with the boy who had sent forth the wave of fire, though the henchman knew he was still currently in the open. He was a simple target... but there was a way of sorting that. He reached his hand into his left pocket, grasping another crystal.

One student had sent for some kind of supply crate and while he was unknowing of what lay within it he knew fine well it would make for some excellent cover. Leaping behind and around it he slashed his sword horizontally; aimed to slice whichever student it was who had called it forth. He would follow the initial slash with something he hadn't used prior, he threw a crystal of earth dust directly at the boy's face. Upon contact it would turn to stone and wrap around his head, both crushing his skull and potentially blinding him.

The muscular man, still feeling the affects of the psychopath's semblance, took two steps back. He had to revert this back into what it truly was. A hostage situation. They had the power here. He placed a foot on the girl's back, not pushing down quite yet. But most any attack on him would cause the princess pain... he kept his eyes glued to the man with the robot arm however. Unsure this would deter him. The way he had attacked wasn't exactly that of a knight in shinning armour.

Ophelia couldn't work her magic unless the men were distracted. She had range and vision thanks to Yin and Yang. Realizing that she was still too close to the action where she clearly did not belong. Her constant backing ended her up near the doors of the castle. She could see the heatwaves in the air and the action around her caused her to look for a different approach. Right now she needed to find some high ground, which was not going to happen so instead she found her way out of the war zone clearly going on before her. She needed heal time, even if she didn't get hit to bad, she still needed time to find an opportunity and exploit it.

James Gray

James Gray
Breathe. Breathe.

Up. Down. Inhale. Exhale. His chest expanded and depressed as short intakes of breath were hurt. These were not just mindless Grimm. These were actual people, doing bad things, kidnapping. He sighed deeply into his shield before the unmistakeable sound of a blade being swung entered his one currently good ear. He leaned back towards the ground, bringing his shield down with him to block the swing. The shield rattled as the blade struck metal and he could see sparks begin to fly.

Crystals. The sound of a crystal being shattered was heard and his shield began to feel heavier than normal. The snow fox noticed rocks begin to creep around the edges of his guard and reaching close to his arms before stopping just short of his fingers. He sighed a breath of relief, glad that his fingers were barely okay and that it only hit his shield. He shuddered at the thought of what would have happened if the, now identified, earth dust had gotten anywhere else.

With a bit of focus, he activated his semblance. Usually, he would use this time to heal any damage done, but now was not the time. He needed to act and quickly.

Thank god he practiced this.

Two chains appeared out of his biceps and wrapped themselves around the remainder of his arms and the shield, to help shoulder the significant increase in weight - though his speed has been hampered, somewhat. Tower shields are heavy, a tower shield of rocks is heavier. Huh, who knew? Assuming that his assailant was still nearby, he attempted a heavy shield bash; the now rocky front adding an extra dimension of damage. A third chain formed to try to restrain the sword-user while a fourth was created in the mindset to detain the one in the far back - this one emerging from the soles of his left foot with the intention to burrow underground towards him and catching him off guard.

Hopefully this was enough for someone to rescue the girl. The chains took up a lot of concentration to maintain their individual positions, being meant for healing and not in this way, and he doubted he could last a drawn-out encounter. The chains would disappear soon and he would be forced to retreat and abandon his sole form of weaponry for the meantime. Well, he can always fall back on martial arts.

Jun Lockhart

Jun Lockhart
Jun found her concentration broken by the collision of something against her side, knocking her to the ground. “Stupid heels…” It was just another reason she hated the idea of wearing any kind of heels on a regular basis. At least any as pointed as the ones she currently wore were. Looking up to see what had knocked her over, especially at a fancy event like the current one, she found a black haired male looking at her with a sense of panic in his eyes. He began to ramble on, obviously knowing full-well who she was by going as far as to address her by name. Her name at that as opposed to the Lockhart name. He began to back away in worry, claiming that he wasn’t going to be shot by some kind of sniper that was watching Jun from a distance.

The concept cause Jun to freeze for a moment, making her wonder if there was any truth to his idea. Could the reason she wasn’t able to find Yuu at this gathering be that she was off somewhere protecting her in the role of a sniper? Getting to her feet she brushed the thought away along with the dirt from her dress. Yuu was an up-close and personal fighter that preferred to bring her huge weapons down hard on her target. Sniping just wasn’t her style. Before she had a chance to think it through further she was interrupted by the sound of a sharp, piercing scream that drew most of the guests’ attention toward the gardens. As several other students began to make their way in the direction of the scream Jun wondered if she should follow. In the end she simply settled for kicking the heeled shoes off of her feet and running along to the gardens.

The Lockhart heiress roamed over her body searching through her dress for the device she was able to use to call her locker full of combat equipment. “Stupid dress. I can make a portable railgun but I can’t design a dress with pockets?!” The genius girl muttered under her breath as she finally reached into her own cleavage, producing the very device she had been looking for. With a press of the screen her locker and gauntlets were launched, heading to land in the palace gardens. It was times like this she wished she had been smart enough to include a change of clothing. It was needless to say she’d be doing a lot more ranged combat than close quarters in her dress.

The locker’s timing couldn’t have been any more impeccable if it had been programmed by Jun herself. The object came crashing down right in front of her once she had entered the gardens, blocking what seemed to be some kind of hail of projectiles that would have caught her as well as whatever the actual target was. She gulped. Without Yuu around to provide support she was beginning to worry just how she’d manage this miracle by herself. Of course she had fellow classmates here to support her but she had remained locked away in her room since her arrival and her bodyguard’s disappearance, she knew nothing of these people and what they could do. And chances were they knew nothing of her either. With shaky nerves she opened her locker and donned her gauntlets. She needed to do this.

The plating of her gauntlets slid into place with heavy clicks, the dust revolvers inside spinning until the chambers filled with water dust were aligned with the channels drilled through the weapons. Strapped to her right thigh was a single belt, custom made to hold vials of dust with only a single container remaining. Each gauntlet had been loaded with two vials prior and as such the remaining one would rest on the girl’s thigh until needed. By the time she had finished readying herself Jun found that a full-on battle had began at the base of the large oak tree. Two men were engaged with several of the students she had seen running this way.

It was safe to assume her targets were the men. Raising her gauntlets in unison she took aim, each one pointed at both of the men. With two gauntlets it was easier to target the two individuals. Her fingers tapped the triggers on the handles and a single bullet was fired from the tips of the gauntlet’s swords comprised of pure water dust.

Chloe Erinys

Chloe Erinys
Chloe was really happy that she had chosen this dress. The slit on the side allowed her to move almost freely if it wasn’t for the length. She didn’t have heels, never wore them before and didn’t want to add more ridicule to herself. Still, she could really use a weapon as unarmed fighting wasn’t her specialty. She could strike pretty strongly and has good reflexes with battle experience, but she lacked any form of… well form or style or technique. She knew pressure points but that wasn’t learned for hand to hand combat purpose even if it applied.

The current problem was that the girl was surrounded by vines and the thin man apparently could control those vines, making the rescue much more complicated since he could push and pull her all he wanted. The last hit by the larger man still rang in her head, making her miss her helmet. The hat was nice – and somehow still on her head – but offered nothing in terms of protection.

She was out of range after the strike which actually sent her flying backward a bit so she reluctantly backed some more to avoid the wave of fire. Anyway, she saw that the thin man was going to do something to protect himself and those close to him, including the girl, so at least she was safe. Chloe didn’t have a lot of Aura to spend on semblance uses so she was somewhat glad that she didn’t have to use it.

Looking around, she saw a bunch of wood branches, planks and other lying around, some even sturdy looking enough to consider using as a weapon, but she discarded the idea. They were made of wood and that thin man controlled plants, he’d just turn it against her. Oh what she wouldn’t do for any sort of… blade.

They were at a party! There was knives! Conveniently, she had backed away in a way that got her close to said party grounds, a man was standing near a table with a steak knife. Getting up and after a quick dash to him, she snatched the knife. “Thanks, I need that.” The man looked at her somewhat stunned, his hand still up as if still holding the knife.

Chloe ran back toward the large man. He seemed somewhat occupied with holding the girl down while being attacked by bullets and chains. She was coming from the side, the same one where the girl was. Once she reached him, she crouched down and used her free hand to grasp firmly the vine surrounding the captive while using her momentum to deliver a partially extended double kick to the bigger guy, trying to push him away so she can lift and move away with the girl. If the chain she saw come out as she was running manages to catch the man, he won’t be able to follow. The thin man on his side can try dragging the girl again with his semblance, he’ll be dragging Chloe too and she can fight back. But before he does anything, the avian faunus would use her newly acquired steak knife to work on cutting the vines.

Koko Hanazusaki
Koko went to throw a punch as the swords collided, but he resisted advancing in his attack just to barely get out of being hit by the big mans lightning, the sound and light making him only more irritable and vile. He backed up for a moment to let the other students take the heat while he got his bearings, gritting his teeth while what was left of his ears took its time to stopped ringing.

"Oh god are you gonna get it you giant sack of monkey-."

Koko spoke and get his eyesight back to what it was, and the ringing in his ears subsided, he looked at the muscular man as he tried controlling the situation by what it seemed to be of threatening to hurt the princess. The only thing about it is that it might have worked for anyone but him to deter from getting close. As for Koko, he just started laughing, laughing at what the man had done to try and intimidate someone who cared not for human life. He had already killed too many innocent people to feel any remorse if the princess were to get hurt or worse.

"You think that'll stop me? Her wounds will heal, worse case scenario she dies, big whoop humans breed all the time. You really think causing her pain will stop me from feeding your intestines to your friend? Girl looks like she hasn't felt pain in her life besides a paper cut and a scraped knee, this is good experience."

He chuckled and upon hearing the gunshot he tore off running towards the muscular man at a fast pace, watching a girls attempt at freeing the princess while kicking the muscular man. He'd use the flow of oncoming damage and confusion to try and send two thrust attacks from abomination while his speed reduction and mental distortion semblance continued its toll, one thrust at the mans neck and the other to the mans liver.

Things began to make a lot more sense when the a couple of baddies revealed themselves from the tree. Upon their reveal in the tree, Kei also noticed another one amongst them. She was bounded and gagged, but Kei could clearly recognize her; The Princess.

"Well damn," Kei muttered to himself, still hiding in the bushes, "That completely changes things."
Being the entrepreneur he was, Kei saw the situation not only as a hostage situation, but also as a way to make some money. The idea was simple enough, save the Princess, get some money. The execution on the other hand, might be a bit difficult.

A large battle was ensuing between the Princess's Captors and Ishi as well as those who were on his side. Kei made no rush to jump in and save the princess, as things seemed to be more or less in control. The Princess was out of immediate danger it seemed, and that's all that really mattered at the moment.

Kei scratched his head. Thinking about it, he figured he could probably jump in towards the end of the battle, and either finish off the captors if they were still standing, or join Ishi and the others who seemed to be trying to rescue her, and act like he himself was in the battle the entire time. People tended to miss such details during a chaotic battle, so Kei was certain it would probably work.

With that decided upon, Kei remained hiding in the bushes, simply watching the battle, learning the move sets of the Princess's Captors, already formulating different strategies to quickly take them out if and when the time comes.

Henchmen

Henchmen
As the student attempted to use his large shield, successfully blocking the two blows of the skinny assailant, to think he would be able to ram the nimble man with such a heavy object was ridiculous. The additional weight from the stone encumbering the poor boy even more so, the thin man simply opted to run. Leaping to his left and chasing straight ahead as the student staggered forward, in passing he threw one more crystal of earth dust toward the boy. Hoping to catch his leg and cement him in place, reducing what little chance he had of catching up. His chain falling far short as the skinny man ran at his top speed.

The swordsman let out a high whistle, echoing across the noisy battlefield. His larger partner knew what this meant. His companion was leaving, they were out of time, the surprise of their assault had long since faded and soon the guards would be here. It was time to do or die. The large man had to break through their ranks and escape with the princess, he had hoped his ally was coming to his aid just as he caught sight of him in time for him to throw a crystal of plant dust toward the ground and, making use of both his semblance and dust, he created a leaf springboard and bounded high far and fast into the night. Alone he could traverse the garden landscape far faster than accompanied by the large man and the princess. A bolt of some description just missing the thin man him as he bounded free. Rocketing far from the students and potentially even off the palace grounds. If not he certainly escaped them quickly.

His ally's cunning escape however had left the large man open to assault. For you see, that bolt he had spotted had been water dust shot by a student far from the large man. The surprise bolt rang out against his chest-plate, invoking a flinch and raising the man's foot from the girl. He looked out and caught sight of the madman and his sword only to feel two kicks resound against his upper thigh. This pushed him further still from the girl, staggering backward a step only to find a chain had coiled it's way around his foot. He had not however taken his eyes off the man.

He raised his left arm, slowed by the confusion cause by the boy's effect, leading muscle scarring at the blade's contact (rather than catching the blade in his hand as he had intended to) but aura preserving it. As the attempt at the kidney stab came in however it would only find plate mail, sending a reverberating clang throughout his body. Eyes red with rage not only at his attackers but his ally abandoning him the man let out a ferocious roar. His hands were quickly filled with lightning. The first bolt was sent directly toward the ground, meeting with the chain as he tore his leg upward and free of it's grasp with his tremendous strength, the sudden flash blinding to all around, the second however was thrown toward the swordsman. Once more at such close range.

His ally had left, there was a new sniper, he hadn't felt the heatwave in a while, there was a crazy swordsman and a speedy girl hell bent on reclaiming the princess. He had signed up for a quick snatch and grab operation, not this!

Leaving his weapon the man used the cover of the electric flash to make his escape, a vial of earth dust was pulled from his pocket and thrown to the ground before him as he ran. A stone plateau sprung up from the earth, the force of which carried him beyond the garden in which he had been fighting the students but creating tremendous noise as it shot him upward. Being as large as he was he did not quite make it as far as his light counterpart with the launch alone, however he rushed his way through the remainder of the gardens and free of them quickly at the cost of great damage to the area. Running beaten physically, but not bested totally.

Periwinkle Mulberry

This had been quite an experience. To be honest, she was even somewhat thrilled now that she was safe and thinking back, one hell of a story to tell. Still, that emotion was pretty buried under all the stress and general trauma of the events. It didn’t help that of those that came to “help”, most of them were concentrating much more on trying to kill the captors instead of saving her, some of them were even obviously not even caring about the collateral damage they would do to her. While she was glad that the cavalry came to the rescue, she was a bit warry of them.

She did thank the green haired girl that was on the contrary focused on getting her out, managing to cut the vines binding her with a steak knife, but as soon as she was free we went for the relative and familiar safety of the palace guards that had the place surrounded. They obviously couldn’t stop the two men from escaping seeing as they couldn’t even participate in the rescue, but even though they were arguably useless, she was more afraid of most of her saviors than her captors by the end considering one of them sent a fire wave that would have burned her alive had it not been for her captor saving her while another had clearly stated that he didn’t care at all about her safety, he just wanted blood. Looking at the surrounding destruction, she was a bit sad. The gardens, her sanctuary, her getaway, if there wasn’t some earth pillar deforming the scenery, most of the rest was either burnt or burning with families of critters, birds and other small animals fleeing the place, one bird even flew in place, as if looking around for her chicks before seemingly abandoning and flying away. Really, weren’t anti-heroes supposed to be the exception and not the rule? She knew she couldn’t fault them too much but still… They overdid it a little.

Standing close to the men in shinny armors, she attempted to stay somewhat out of reach of her mother and father, not really feeling like getting screamed at right now for getting out of her room and incidentally almost getting snatched up. She was a bit too shocked at the moment to think things through though, her mother could easily reach her since none of the guards would stop her, but all she could manage right now was to shake like crazy and waiting for the feeling of relief to finally reach her.

"Sister! Sister!" The small prince cried, an envoy of guards surrounded him as he rushed forward, the men in their armour having no trouble keeping up with the royal five year old. "Are you okay sister? Is Peri okay?" His voice however fell almost unheard beneath the raging of the fire outside and the panic of the guests.

As the young boy stumbled slightly the guards panicked, prepared to catch the child before he hit the dance-floor, but he managed to right himself before once more hurrying forward. The same concerned look on his face that had been before, a sign which showed to the few remaining guests paying attention to him just how much the young heir cared for the princess and his relentlessness to reach her despite the danger a child so young must have been unknowing of.  He could not however keep up this show of strength, that which the queen had attempted to drill into him so as to be right and proper in the face of company and to leave lasting good impressions.

When he stumbled for the second time he fell, landing hard on his right knee but rising as quickly as he could. Water began flooding down his cheeks immediately, he screamed over the chaos around him; "Sister! Sister! Are you okay!? Where are you sister?!" He continued to make his way toward the group of guards she had chosen to shelter among.

Do the people hate us and want to rebel? As soon as the queen managed to get a hold of herself she ran to her daughter's side saying "Peri! Peri! If anyone thought that the King as been doing nothing about the current crisis that was happening in his castle, they would be wrong. With the security feeds he had from all around the castle he had kept an eye on his daughter all along. He knew about her little "night walks", he always did but he knew that she wasn't doing it for him to react, so he always let her have her fun, even changing the guards routes so she would come across them as seldom as possible. So when he saw her being taken, you can believe that his Majesty was already mobilizing his guards to act, but not the way that everyone would have assumed.

While the guards in the ballroom did circle the immediate vicinity of the garden where the fighting was occurring between the kidnappers and the Hunters that went for the Princess' rescue, the King was dispatching other troops all around the palace's ground in order to block any possible exits for the intruders, basically making sure that they would be caught as the mobilized units were composed of only the best soldiers of the Kingdom. Bellmuse wasn't renown for its powerful army, but that didn't mean that they didn't have powerful soldiers nonetheless.

As the fight was lingering and the garden ravaged by the fighting, the most damage been made by one of the Huntsman that was supposed to help with his heatwave, the King was only relieved to see that by the end of the encounter his daughter was safe and sound and gave the reins to his Captain for taking care of the capture of the intruders while he decided to go see for himself how his family was doing. Monitors could only do so much after all.

Entering the ballroom where most guests were still standing followed by some guards, his Majesty looked at everyone with a glare that was the complete opposite of the look he had at the beginning of the festivities. Walking towards a balcony and leaning on a ramp that led to the garden, he looked at the many Hunters that were standing before shouting, not just at them but everyone that could hear him. "The party is over! Every single one of you, leave this place! There's nothing to be seen! Guards, please escort all of our guests safely outside the palace." The King then walked towards his family, pressing them to get inside where hopefully they would be safer while muttering to himself. "I could have stopped this before it happened..."

James Gray

James Gray
James sighed as he sunk into a nearby bench, having been crowded by many reporters about the events that had recently transpired. His shield attack did not work, expected. His more nimble attacker escaped, also expected. His feet suddenly getting trapped to the floor via earth dust? Not expected. The fox boy rubbed his ankles as they were still sore from the experience. Closing his eyes, his thoughts returned to the finale of the event.

Once the attackers left, and the princess recovered, guards stormed into the garden and secured a perimeter around the area. Picking away at the rocks ensnaring his feet, he rolled his eyes as the guards were finally doing their job. While he appreciated their help, they should have came sooner.

He watched a small boy come rushing in and tripping over himself, yelling out in distress for his sister. Undoubtedly, that sister being the girl who was just attacked. Soon, both the king and queen entered the area, both in varying levels of concern. The king, with a glare that could level mountains, shouted for all the guards to escort everyone out of the building. Guards began to walk towards him in an attempt to assist, but he stayed them with a raising of his hand. Nodding in appreciation for the gesture, he used the ground as leverage and pulled up on his leg, having chipped away the rocks enough for it to be loose. With a grunt of effort, fractured rocks flew as the trapped appendage became free.

Standing and dusting himself off, he placed his shield back into his locker, before closing it and sending it back to the school. He bowed at those present and turned to leave the garden - nodding towards his fellow huntsmen who came to help.

Now here he was, just resting in a nearby park. The sounds of footsteps, running footsteps at that, filled his ears and he turned towards the offending sound, opening an eye to the cause.

Standing from his seat, he opened his arms and braced himself for the white rocket that launched itself into him. He wrapped his arms around the object before sitting back down, bringing the rocket with him. He looked down and smiled at the teary-faced smile looking up at him - given none other than by his sister Artemis. The siblings said nothing to one another and simple enjoyed the peaceful ambience of the park.
