Sky Richardson
Sky walked into the training arena carrying a duffel bag, walking past the various occupants to an unused section in the back. He quickly sets up an a few dummies before he unzips the duffel bag and pulls out his swords, strapping them to his waist so they rested comfortably against his hips. Tossing the duffel bag to the side, he draws Wind and Rain and settles into a ready stance. He closes his eyes and takes five measured breaths, snapping his eyes open at the last second, taking off at the same instant. He crosses the gap between him and the dummy at a lightning speed, his swords trailing behind him. He flicks one sword then the other at the dummy, slicing two cuts even as he dodges to the side and behind the dummy, stabbing his swords into its side as he ran, lifting it up in a twirl. He proceeds to slit the dummy to tatters, leaving in 4 pieces, with more cuts besides. Running up the nearest wall and kicking off of it, Sky lunges in midair as he lands and spears another through the chest with rain, and then bringing sideways and up he sends it flipping through the air, to be sliced three times. He dances his way around the last dummy, sending perfectly aimed slices at the last dunny to jerk it around to be in place for the next hit, before leaving it, too, in pieces. He takes a moment to the side, though its obvious he intends to continue training.

Nagi

Nagi
Its was as good a way to spend his day than anything else. It seemed half the school was still in some sort of disarray. Thankfully the training center was still open and Nagi was able to find a space large enough to train handling his large sword. It was simple weight training, conditioning his body to react to the momentum and weight of the broadsword style weapon so that he didn't lose control during a fight.
To warm up he sat to simple upward swings alternating from left to right then right to left. the act of controlling the weight and using it to his benefit resulted in the swings becoming faster with the weapons momentum aiding his body. Nagi remembered how when he was younger the weapons momentum and weight would throw him from his stance when he got up to speed but years of practice have trained his body and taught him the proper stance to assume in order to keep his footing.

As he was finishing his warm up he noticed an older student training with twin swords against training dummies. immediately the difference in fighting methods was obvious. Nagi relied on strength first and foremost, but it was clear that technique was the dominant trait in his combat art. Nagi new a few techniques suited for his own sword but at the end of the day it was his strength and the weight of his sword that carried his combat style.

As Sky was gearing up for round two, he noticed a younger student swinging around a massive broadsword. He appeared to be finishing his own warmups, namely, swinging his sword up faster and faster. He had never handled a broadsword, but knew enough thanks to Iris that he knew to be impressed. Keeping control over a blade as large as that at high speeds is not a simple task. Intrigued, Sky slid his weapons into their respective homes and walked over to Nagi. Hello, there. I am called Sky Richardson. I couldnt help but notice you training over here, and I wished to kkow whether you would care for a fight. Slicing up dummies kind of gets old, after a while. he says with an affable smile, extending his hand to the man.

Nagi

Nagi
Nagi set the tip of his sword against the ground releaving his arms of the burden its weight created and nodded to Sky in greeting. "Nagi Winnfield." He said introducing himself in turn and taking Sky's hand. "It should get old I suppose, they don't react or anything, you'd think with the advances being made in the military the hunting accademys could get a hold of a few robots to train their students against." Nagi said ponderously taking into note the static dolls Sky was training against. "Sparring is well and good, but when you train to hold back then more than likely your going to loose some valuable training."

Nagi moved to one side of the traning arena to begin the offered match Sky had proposed. He lifted Grimsever to his shoulder and relaxed his stance as he waited for Sky to make himself ready. "I've always wondered if my traning would pay off against someone smarter than a Grimm, guess this is a good way to find out."

Well met, Nagi. Now it was Sky's turn to become ponderous. Why didn't they have training androids? Perhaps they did, but were for request only. He shrugged, resolving to find out later as his opponent assumed his ready position. Sky smirked as he moved opposite Nagi, not a cocky smirk but rather that of a confident man faced with a challenge. Sky stood for a few moments as the anticipation built up, melting away all the distractions, as he felt himself being grounded. His smirk morphed into a fierce grin as his posture abruptly shifted, his swords seeming to materialize in his hands. The stance he chose looked absolutely ridiculous, as it would appear that he was in an impossibly low battle stance. However, this stance let the user move with a fast, fluid motion, faster than one might think possible. Let the dance begin. Sky would dash in quick, attempting to get in and under the big blade before Nagi could bring it to bear. He would unleash a flurry of attacks meant to drive ones opponent of balance, leaving them open for a strike; always angling behind his opponent.

Nagi

Nagi
Nagi Recognized Sky's speed tactic and moved to keep his blade between him and his opponent by switching his grip to a backhanded style. This brought his sword off his shoulder swung downward close to his body in a lateral motion cutting off Sky's path of attack and letting the weapon act as a defacto shield. 'He's too fast for a direct assault, he'll just dodge me, I have to get him when he attacks.' Nagi thought as he tried to figure out where Sky's attack was coming from now that the direct route was cut off. Even as Nagi was repositioning his sword for the next counter move he was watching Sky for any tell of an attack making sure that he didn't succeed any ground to his aggressive opponent and keeping the battle on his terms. 'let the ememy tire themselves out, weather their flurries and faints, it's only when they are trying to actually harm you that they will open themselves to your own attack.' Nagi reminded himself keeping Sky infront of him with a series of sidesteps and advances that kept him in a small cirlce of movement.

Sky let off a couple more half hearted swipes before crouching down. if he stays defensive like this, I'll never get him... Still, there's only SO fast one can physical move a sword like that... in the next instant sky dashes around Nagi as fast as he could, stabbing a sword at his body as he began moving, in the hopes of catching his opponent off guard when he came around behind. Sending another jab, this time at nagis face, sky takes off again, jumping and twisting through the air and lands, stabbing his aworda behind him with such speed and precision that a hairs breadth to either side and he would have impaled himself. Wary of a counterattack, he would retreat a couple steps. Hr didnt want to unveil his Semblance yet, if he could help it.

Nagi

Nagi
Nagi weathered Sky's faints keeping his defence solid, Sky seemed to catch on to what he was doing however and devised an attack that was meant to trap him, the punch would keep his defense focused forward but then using his semblance snuck behind Nagi and launched an attack to pincer him into an exposed position. Nagi knew he couldn't be able to bring his sword around in time but thankfully this gambit could be turned against Sky. He had to be winded by now after burning that energy, so Nagi shifted his body and dropped his sword freeing his own movement and then charged straight into sky taking his arm firmly in hand and using it to lever him off-balance before launching a counter attack by kicking out at his side. 'He's all about speed, having his opponent take that away should trip him up.' he thought as he jumped back to pick up his discarded sword and charged forward again attempting to pin Sky int the corner of the training area where his speed and maneuvering ability would be sapped.

Nagi's sudden dash briefly broke through Sky's battle focus, his eyes starting to widen in surprise. Before they could finish opening the focus slammed back into Sky and he reacted, the feeling gone as quick as it came. He lunged backward with nagi, matching his speed perfectly so they stayed the same distance apart from each other doing the whole manuever. Sky  brought his right hand up as he drew upon his souls energy to fuel his Semblance, dropping his sword as his hand came parallel to the ground, and he pushed out his soul through his palm, sending the air around Nagi's hand and between Nagis hand and Skys palm into a frenzy, the air molecules whipping around frenetically. He jerked his hand to the right and the field followed his hand statically, the electromagnetic forces generated inside it acting upon the metal plates on the back of Nagi's glove, pulling his wrist to the side. The force generated at this distance was mild but strong enough for Sky's purposes. As he wrenched the field sideways, he twisted his right foot into the ground, pivoting into a jump that sent both feet slamming into the side of Nagis head one after the other, his body pivoting enough from the first kick to allow him to snatch Rain out of the air, the second kick allowing him to strike at Nagi with both swords, likely stunning him if not knocking him to the side. Sky would land on the ground catlike. As he rose from his crouch, he would quickly shift to the side, placing him between Nagi and his blade while sheathing his swords. Let him think my Semblance is polarity, he thought. Truth was, if his Semblance Was polarity, he would use it exactly the same way, save with just a bit more force. As he straigtens, he pulls out of his pocket a single quarter. He holds it in his right  hand, on top of his thumb ready to flip, while his left hand came up parellel to his right, his palm open and facing his right hand, his fingersed tensed slightly. Trust me, you do not want to know what I can do with this quarter. He reaches into his soul and readies the power, but doesn't draw it yet.

Nagi

Nagi
The attacks were faster than Nagi could react to and made worse by the slight manipulation Sky had achieved over his hand. It through his attack off just enough to be innefective and offbalanced Nagi to the point that the kicks caused him to relent his attack. The first hit sound but realizing his opponent was sending another Nagi turned away avoiding the brunt of its force and the sword attack that followed shortly after.
But that Sky stopped. He had snuck between Grimsever and himself and positioned to strike. Then he began to fish for something in his pockets before retreiving a quarter. Nagi asumed this was some ploy and then Sky delivered his ulitmatum, that was Nagi's opening. Sky was focused on speaking rather than fighting hoping he would back down from the threat. But as his hands came up in postion for the threat nagi was in motion and caught the hand and thumb balancing the quarter before kicking Sky's inside foot out from uner him and wrenching his caugh hand forward effectivly forcing him to fall forward before bracing his arm abouve the elbow in a straight armbar.
"No, I suppose I don't. But thanks for the opening" Nagi said cheekily before pulling Sky off the matt. "Your skills are sharp, I can't deny that. But you fight like your in it for sport." Nagi commented returnign Grimmsever to its mounted position. "We're hunters, we have to take the kill when we have it, even if we're just sparing. That's what Aura is for right?"

Before Sky could complete his motion, Nagi charged him. Fool! What was I thinking, letting my guard down like that?! he thought even as nagi pulled him forward. His body acted by itself; instead of pulling back, Sky jumped with the pull, launching off with his left foot, the motion of nagis footswipe providing just enough torque for him to bring his foot around, his heel smashing directly into Nagis face with lightning speed, which; unless the kid was made of steel and as heavy to boot would doubtless send Nagi falling if not flying back. Sky ungracefully tumbled through the air, his legs mitaculously not getting tangled up with his swords; landed somewhat lightly on all fours before bouncing back up almost instantly. He frowned slightly as he unsheathed his swords and  drew upon his soul, sparking his Semblance. This time, however, he  focused it on his swords. Sparks of sky blue lightning crackle and dance along his blades, jumping back and forth between the two faster and faster as he brought the tips of his swords together, pointing straight at Nagi. As the wild energy built,  the sparks would get bigger and more violent with time. Learning his lesson, he would unleash the pent up power, the wild energy arcing through the space between them at a literal lightning pace. A smile somehow even more wild and fierce splits his face now. He hadnt been taking the fight seriously before, causing him to make mistakes that Nagi had capitalized upon. Despite his annoyance at thus having to unveil his Semblance for what it truly was, the feeling the lightning gave him was indescribable. He quickly stepped back, using the motion to kick Nagis blade backwards, sending it skittering across the floor, throwing up an occasional spark. Even as it slid, Sky was putting more space between him and Nagi, while keeping himself between nagi and his blade. let him come to me he thought. Though he had never played nor even heard of soccer, he understood well enough the principle that the ball is always easy to intercept when its coming from midfield.
