The sound of a clock ticking away echoed throughout the confines of the lecture hall, as Knox reclined, waiting. Oh sure there were a few students, and some were more noisy than others, but at the moment none of it mattered to the man reclining at his desk, waiting. He could start the class now but, he still had a few minutes until the designated time, and Duke saw no reason to start the class earlier than the time he’d given, though the amount of students’ present could be less than expected. After all, who knew how punctual these kids would be about their early afternoon classes

It didn’t matter to Knox, his class was one of the more important ones t the school, and if they wanted to fail it, that was their problem. The dark-skinned man was currently reclining in his chair, boots on his desk and his eyes staring upward through the shades he wore to the ceiling. Mentally keeping track of the time based on the clicking of the clock. He’d give it a few more minutes, since he wasn’t planning on a long intro, might as well give the kids a fair shake and let more of them show up before he started his lessons.

His desk looked very much standard, surprisingly neat and organized, with a wall rack of different keys attached to the side wall. Knox wondered if it wouldn’t be better to put the rack into his office instead. He had the lesson for today already planned, always did, after all it’d be a shame not to be prepared.

Ache Kreene

Ache Kreene
"Man what an odd day." Ache grumbled looking over his syllabus. Not only had he spent the morning with some crazy doctor, but he'd managed to get himself lost on campus and almost miss one of his first classes. He could only hope that it hadn't gotten too far in that he couldn't keep up. Hell if it hadn't even started yet he'd remind himself to buy a lottery ticket.

It felt odd without his weapon after traveling with it for so long but it might have been awkward to be carrying it around the school all day. So as it was he walked into the class holding just his scroll and a small pad to take notes in. The instructor seemed to be relaxing at his desk and wasn't speaking. "lotto ticket it is then" Ache muttered to himself before finding a seat in the back of the room.

Lucius

Lucius
Lucius walked into the classroom while closing up his notebook with information about kinks to work out with his arm, he looked around the mostly empty classroom save for a few students and saw a young man who looked about a few years younger than him he decided to sit near the young man so he can get help from someone should he get lost someone can help him catch up with the material. He heard the man say something about getting a lottery ticket he sat down near the other man and turned to him. “I feel we may think the same in that regard I have been having luck that manages to be awful and amazing at the same time.”

Lucius opened up his small notebook and decided to sketch out the classroom with small annotations near certain pictures such as the teacher who was a large six foot tall dark skinned man under his picture he wrote ‘sleeping?’ he decided he had a few minutes so he put one of his earbuds in and listened to a hard blues tune he silently whistled along with the tune as he waited for class to start he once again put his notebook back in his pocket.

Knox Weller

Knox listened to the ticking of the clock a few more minutes, before taking a quick glance at around the room, the students seemed to have showed up though not as many as he would have liked. The dark-skinned man let out a heavy sigh, he’d waited long enough, whoever wasn’t here now would just have to catch up, he had a lesson to get on with. “Alright, I think it’s about time we get things started.” Knox’s deep baritone called out, loud and clear enough he knew he would be heard throughout the room, though not loud enough to be construed as yelling or shouting. The dark-skinned man stood up slowly, regarding the occupants of the room from behind the dark sunglasses he wore. There were a few standout students here and there that could undoubtedly catch the eye, but otherwise everything seemed about as he’d expected.

“I’d rather not go on with a long introduction, so let’s get this over with. You can call me Mr. Weller, I’m here to make sure you don’t go getting yourselves killed out there.” The man stated calmly, his gaze subtly scanning over the students in the room to assess their reactions, both hands in his pockets as he looked over the various students, most of whom seemed to have not bothered with the school uniform. Not that that was too surprising. “Any questions? If not, I’d rather just get started. What can you tell me about Beowolves?”

Ache Kreene

Ache Kreene
"In general? they're just a form a grimm. Large anthromorphic wolves that walk upright and hunt in packs." Ache answered confused as to the purpose of the question. "They're the most common form of Grimm and don't have that many defining traits, they aren't armored, they don't have any special powers like the Gheist or manticores." He said out loud trying to think of something he might be over looking.

Lucius

Lucius
Lucius took his headphone off and put his notebook back in his pocket as he heard the teacher who is apparently not sleeping stood up, Lucius now got a better look a better look at the man and saw that he was wearing sunglasses had green pants, a green shirt, and a green vest. The man asked the students what they can tell him about Beowolves. After the student next to him gave his answer he decided to share what he knows “They are large wolf like Grimm with parts of their spine protruding out of their backs there behavior is more or less the same as normal wolves they form packs, go hunting, etcetera however they can stand on their hind legs and there claws can a lot of damage to the unprotected.” Lucius stated assuming that the teacher just wanted to gauge where he should start off on the lesson.

Knox Weller

Knox kept a neutral expression, hand in his pockets as he regarded the student who had answered the question, it was a simple one, but established a good baseline, for him. Still it set the stage for the lesson he had in mind. As he knew beowolves were on of the more underestimated types of grimm, with good reason often enough, but there was still a major threat they posed.

The question was whether the students in front of him could realize that threat. “That’s good enough for a baseline.” Knox turned his attention back to the rest of the class, deciding “Beowolves are one of the most common types of grimm, usually one of the weaker individually as well, though that doesn’t mean they aren’t a threat.” He added to the basic information covered. “Now that we got the basics out of the way, who can tell me what the most dangerous aspects of Beowolves are for a huntsman?” The dark-skinned man’s demeanor was cool. The huntsman had a good poker face, able to hide what he was thinking under that cool demeanor and an almost laid-tone, though he kept an undertone of sternness there. There were plenty of possible answers, though most students might not think of some of them, similarly not all of them were simple direct physical characteristics. It was likely many of the student had thought a beowolf or two in the past, but that would only suit the green-clad huntsman's purposes.

Ache Kreene

"Their hunting and fighting patterns." Ache answered having observed enough to learn about them. "Grimm don't exactly have a singular consciousness, but Beowolves typically distract their prey." Ache lifted his hand giving his right a slight motion indicated it as the primary subject. "So to simplify, when a hunter is fighting one of the pack," He then lifts his left hand moving toward his right and covering it in a firm grip. "A second or third from the same pack try and encircle them and attack from behind. They don't even seem to care if the first wolf survives."
