It was now eight o'clock sharp. Wynter was prancing around as if it was any other regular afternoon. Only it was night, of course. For Wynter, the day was just like the night, and for the night, well it was vice versa. It was unfortunately how she was raised, being kept as a house cat and all. But now that the moon has rose up to its highest, it was time for Wynter to take control of the night for her own purposes. And that, was to explore the town. Due to being a little new to the academy, Wynter wasn't too sure of when the curfew was, but she'll just take her chances.

Wynter wore her white knitted sweater with matching sweatpants to match her sweater, and wore black and what shoes. Right now, the feline waited for the streets to clear up a little, just so she can start on her own "things" where people wouldn't be here to complain or report about her. So to try and kill some time, Wynter sat herself down near the fountain; it wasn't like she was drinking out of it or so. But it was quite tempting to do so. "Nya... just a few more minutes of resting... then I might walk." She said to herself.

Strolling around the square with a list in his left hand and a bunch of bags hanging off his left. If anyone knew Oliver one could probably bet they were books written on either fiction or weapons. (Or both) He was clearly looking around noting that some humans were noting that it was getting dark. ‘I honestly don’t see what the problem is. I can see just fine.’ Oliver raised an eyebrow quizzically for a breif moment before he donned a face of realization. ‘Oh yeah… Faunus…’ Oliver looked towards a bench seated near the fountain to sit down on and rest his legs before heading back to Syne. Pulling out a book on specialty weapon repairs and sitting down on the bench. He began to read up on different subjects of repairs and what not. Completely ignorant to the other Faunus that was seated nearby. Content with reading his book.

Just what Wynter wished, the streets started to clear up a little bit. Less people would equal less witnesses, and less witnesses would equal less trouble. But the idea in a way backfired on the feline, as she spotted someone, specifically enough what seems to be a Faunus male sitting down nearby Wynter on a bench, and reading a book. Her nose wrinkled along with her ears twitching a little as she watched the boy. She could of sworn she already met someone who also read a book and had just a little distance between themselves and the feline. It felt like deja vu was happening. Maybe she should go check up on the boy and see what he's reading.

With her feline senses kicking in, Wynter couldn't help but to approach the boy as if she was an actual cat. It couldn't really be helped, anyway. Once she was in front of the boy, she then called to him, "What'cha reading there?"

Oliver sat reading his book as Wynter crawled slowly over to him. His eyebrows seemed to move slightly as he noticed her speak up. “Schematic book on my weapon that mother sent over from Vale. Keeping up on my knowledge of how to repair it.” Oliver seemed calm and almost completely unphased that someone crawled up beside him spontaneously and started to talk to him. Oliver sighed and pulled a bookmark from his bag and placed it in the page he was on and put the book in it’s proper place. “So what brings you to the square around this time?” Oliver raised an eyebrow as he asked his particularly nonsensical question. ‘Night. Day. Does it matter. It’s all pretty bright still.’ Oliver stuffed his hands in his pockets as he leaned back against the bench. However if one was quick enough. They would be able to notice that Oliver had claws in place of fingernails.

As she listened with her ears making little twitching movements, Wynter just blinked in response to what the boy said. "Sch-... Sh... nya... right, right, that's cool." The feline nodded her head quickly with a little mow. In reality, she had no idea on what that word meant at all. It wasn't obvious she didn't know, but at least she showed some form of interest instead of looking bored. This was what she get for sleeping out during the day in class.

Being asked on what she was doing here at a time like this, Wynter just gave in a shrug, followed by, "Honestly, I'm a night cat, or 'nocturnal' or whatever people wanna call it, I don't know. I'm not really that active during the day. It's how I've been raised, sadly." She said. Just saying all of that alone, memories started to rush back to Wynter. ...Humans, if it was any animal she can't really deal with, it would be a human.

Wynter then wrinkled her nose as she was at least keen enough to spot that the boy had claws instead of fingernails. Tilting her head slightly, she first introduced herself, followed by asking her question. "Name's Wynter, nya the way. What's yours?" She then asked.

Looking at Wynter more closely he examined her features more closely. His eyes pan from her Faunus Traits to her feet, then back to her traits. “My name's Oliver. Nice to meet you Wynter.” Oliver seemed slightly perplexed after he appraised the Faunus in front of him. 'Do I know her from somewhere?' Dismissing the thought Oliver returned to his idle conversation. “Speaking of my weapon… It should be…” He seemed to search through his bag and produced one of the strangest weapons a hunter or huntress in training could ever lay his/her eyes on. From his bag he pulled a weapon that could be described as something a psycho could wield. It was an axe handle that seemed to have a buzz-saw on the top of the handle. “Here it is. Meet Malevolent Wyvern. My rather… Lovely… Weapon.” Oliver seemed to be eyeing up his weapon for a minute before he shook himself out of his thoughts and put it on the bench beside him. “ANYWAY. Enough about me I guess…” Oliver rubbed the back of his head with a nervous smile on his face.

Wynter pulled her head back a little in shock as she stared at the Faunus boy questioningly. How the hell did this guy know her name? Did she meet him from somewhere, was he a stalker, did someone told him about her? "...Right. Nyace to meet you too, Oliver." She said, a little suspicious now. Wynter was then introduced to some sort of hybrid-ish crazy weapon, with some crazy name. He also seemed a little too... affectionate with his weapon.

"Yeah. Enough about you, nyaright." Wynter said, wrinkling her nose. "I don't really have my weapon on me... so that's a thing. Ah by the way, if you don't mind, you wanna take a walk?" Wynter offered. It would be nice to have a little chat and walk around the town for a bit, especially since the night is still strong and lively for the feline.

Oliver nodded crisply and slung the bag over his shoulder. Standing from his spot at the bench and smiling slightly. “Sure. I don’t mind going for a bit of a stroll.” Oliver looked around the square. Taking in the cool winter breeze on his skin. “So uh. Where you from? I’m from Vale. Although I guess i’m not the cut and paste definition of a Valeian. But. What can you do right?” Oliver seemed to nervously smile at his comment about Vale. “Although I do miss the city. Bellmuse is nice and all but. Just doesn’t match up to Vale y’know? Although I guess one would say that about their hometown…” Oliver sighed and mentally slapped himself. “There I go off on a rant again… Sorry about that. Bad habit of mine.” Oliver smiled slightly and rocked back and forth on his feet. Reaching into his bag to produce a salmon and jam sandwich. Softly munching on the sandwich.
