It was a simple mission with simple guidelines. Find your partner, find the Grimm, kill the Grimm, and report back. It was an easy job for anyone that had ever been a part of a search and destroy mission before, completely lacking and sort of obstacles or outstanding variables. That is save one, that Cain was wandering this forest trying to find his assigned teammate without being given any sort of direction beyond to use his scroll. He had no sooner figured out how to even do that than begin to actually start moving in the correct direction of his partner. He disliked staring at the screen in such a hostile environment, and often found his head nodding up and down to scan his surroundings every so often and then back down to the GPS on his scroll. Despite his chagrin with the situation, he soon was met with newfound relief as he came to learn that his partner would be just creating the hill that he had been climbing for some time, and he sped up his pace to reach them all the swifter.

A small breeze blew through the trees and rustled the artificial hairs on top of DTR-U75's head. Despite being an android she found and odd appreciation for her surroundings, if she was correct this is what was referred to as a beautiful day. As she continued to walk through the forest her internal guidance system lead her towards where she was supposed to meet the other student she was to be assisting today. She hadn't been given much information other than that they were to be hunting Grimm today, of course she didn't really need to know much else. Her job was simple, she would take the hits and make sure no one got hurt.

Reaching the top of a small hill she spotted an organic, most likely her partner for this mission. As he drew closer she put on a smile as a friendly expression always seemed to put organics at ease and it felt kind of natural to her, which was a bit strange but nothing to dwell on. “Greetings, are you my partner for this mission?”

Cain pulls out his scroll and peeks at the GPS to see that there was a red blinking light located directly in front of him. He looks back up and briefly measures DTR. "It would appear so I suppose. Hmm." He slides his scroll away and tightens one of the armor pieces around his chest and continues forward through the forest.

Brambles mix, scratch, and twist in his path as the dull blue hue of the forest seems o pass him by. He had not even heard sign of any grimm thus far, and the sun was sinking fast. He looked back at DTR again. The antennae were more noticeable to him know, and he wondered how her vision fared in the dark. He assumed that she would be capable of seeing relatively easily, just as he would if night were to fall. He looked back forward and twitched his wolf ears like a satellite dish and hoped to be capable of picking up sounds beyond his own footsteps.

“Very good, I am the Defense Tactics and Readiness Unit Zero Zero Seven Five,” she said introducing herself to the partner she was to work with on this mission. With her introduction out of the way she followed him as he kept going. Her chord like tail naturally swishing back and forth as they went.

The light slowly fading had little effect on DTR-U75's ability to see, as her sensors could very easily accommodate for low light conditions. As she had been told they were out here to hunt down some Grimm that had been causing a commotion in the area. Scanning the area with her array of sensors she looked for the beasts. Having never faced them before she was slightly nervous, though she did know she would be able to take more than a fair amount of hits from all but the most powerful of the creatures. Still though she knew it would hurt, and she definitely didn't like pain.
