The nurse’s office had been a pretty quiet place for the duration of the day. Luka sat at her desk, using it to prop her head up with her arm, and faced out the window behind her. The day’s paperwork had been finished, her next class wasn’t going to be for a few more hours, and none of the students had come in with any form of illness, save for the one case that was nothing more than a simple stomachache which she promptly was able to give a remedy for. In actuality she was pretty damned bored, the look on her face enough for anyone to tell immediately. “What I wouldn’t give for a cute little thing to fall right into my lap right now.” She sighed. “I haven’t seen Vivi since we went shopping and I could use a playmate with this kind of downtime.”

Almost as if on cue the door to the nurse’s office opened up and a trio of girls came in, one of them being supported by the other two as they carried her inside. “Luka-sensei we’re sorry to bother you but could you help? We found her at the bottom of a stairway. She was passed out and there was a broken vase next to her head.” Turning back away from the window Luka got to her feet. “Would you girls be so kind as to bring her over to one of the beds and lay her down for me?” Without a question the students did as they were asked, placing the girl onto an open bed as Luka went over towards a large file cabinet and opened it up. “Do you girls recognize who she is by any chance? Enough to know her name anyway, it’d make digging out her file a lot easier.” For a moment the girls looked at each other before looking back at the buxom nurse and shook their heads.

“That’s alright. I’ll just look after her until she wakes up. Thank you for bringing her here girls, you can head back to your classes.” That was all the two needed to hear before they left, the door closing behind them. Closing the file drawer back up Luka approached the unconscious girl to give her a quick look over.

It had been early in the morning, the rising sun coming up and laying out inside the halls. The halls in question had been cleaned and perfect for quite a while. Going over them all several times throughout the night was a bit of a tough job, but Airi was someone who didn’t stop her work until it was all done and she could relax. Even then she felt as though she couldn’t be done with her work until she had come to the conclusion that the place was PERFECT. A perfect example of a workaholic to be exact, she wouldn’t take no for an answer and she refused to rest until everything was all said and done. That included cleaning every little bit of the building and made sure it was done.

As the maid had continued her all night long work, she had been carrying large vase that was easily larger in size then her upper body. She had to take it down a flight of stairs to a stand where she had previously taken it from so she would be able to clean it inside and out and make it look good for everyone. She carefully went down the first few steps before she began to get confident in her movement and took another couple steps down. It was the next step she had missed and with the weight of the vase, she came down onto the bottom of the steps on top of the vase as it shattered, cutting her uniform a little and leaving cuts along her abdomen. She passed out on contact of her head hitting the ground as the mix of her exhaustion and the force of her head hitting it.
The next thing she could remember, she had been asleep for a while from what she had thought it to be. With a little groan, the maid cracked her eyes open before jumping up from a bed into an upright position. "Oh no! I-I have to get back to work!" She shouted out, just before a large shock of pain in her abdomen made her clutch it and fall back down, winced in pain and moaning in pain.

The girl bolted up, suddenly awake, claiming that she had to get back to work as the nurse was trying to examine her head for any injuries. The girl winced in pain and clutched her stomach and fell back to the bed. “Work nothing, you’re staying here and resting while I take a look at you. The girls that brought you in claimed they found you with a smashed vase next to your head at the bottom of a stairwell, do you remember your name?” Taking a flashlight out of her coat pocket Luka used her thumb and finger to open the girl’s eye wide and shine it inside to take a look. After all a lot of head injuries could be detected from a person’s eyes. “From what I can tell you’ve got at least a mild concussion.” Taking the flashlight away she let go of the girl’s eye and placed the device back into her pocket. “Care to tell me about the stomach pains?”

As the maid laid out in the bed, holding onto her stomach in pain, she heard a voice speaking to her. She blushed faintly and looked up to see a woman right by her. She stayed rather silent as she was what Airi presumed to be scolding her for not going back to work. There was a small sigh and gave a bit of a nod to the woman. "I-I'm Airi Kanoha, madam.." She spoke softly, not really wanting to have a reason to get loud being in the position she was in. "W-Well I was cleaning throughout the night and I was carrying this vase down some steps when I guess I passed out and fell down the steps. I think a couple of the shares cut me.. But other than that I feel fine!" She gave a bit of a smile, seeming perfectly fine. Her smile faded as the woman reached over and pulled open her eye and shun a light in it. Her pupil would retract and turn feral until she forced her eye lids shut and rubbing them for a moment. "Ow.. That kinda hurt..." She spoke in her same soft tone, trying to recover her normal sight before opening her eyes again.

Now knowing the girl’s name was Airi Luka stood up from beside her bed and walked back over to the filing cabinet to open it up. “Try telling someone that isn’t the school nurse that you feel fine after you stop clutching your stomach like that.” She said as she walked her fingertips over the names on the files until she found Airi’s. “But you can tell me, when did the school hire a Faunus maid?” Opening up the file it was confirmed that the girl was indeed a Faunus, just like her eyes turning as feral as they did when she examined them indicated. “You’ve probably guessed by now but I’m Nurse Luka and until I say otherwise you’re staying in that bed and resting miss all night cleaning spree.” Closing the file up with a snap of her hand the buxom nurse walked to her desk and opened a drawer before pulling out her stethoscope and draping it around her neck.

Walking back to Airi’s bedside she once again took a seat in the chair beside it. “Can you try sitting up?”

Airi laid in he bed and watched as the woman stood up and walked away fro myths bedside, walking over to a file cabinet. The maids eyes watched her as she walked, blushing a little more and moving her eyes to the cabinet. "T-That was initial shock! I'm fine, I swear!" She exclaimed, sitting herself up partially as she did so. The purple haired nurse had begun to flip through her file and asked her a question she had feared to be asked. She thought about it for a moment, and as much as she wanted to deny it, she had he file on her and she knew it wouldn't be something she could hide at all. "W-Well.. I.. When my papa enrolled me here, I asked about being one... Because I've always been one."

She quested down and slowly sat herself up to an upright position and continued to watch the woman move around the office, gathering stuff up. She mentioned making sure she stayed in the bed until she said otherwise, Airi gave a giggle and smiled at the comment. "Should I assume that you would tie me to the bed if I tried leaving, madam Luka?" She spoke with a teasing tone, remaining in her seated position while she waited.

“If that’s what it takes then as the nurse in charge of your recovery I’ll have to. Unless of course you get off on that sort of thing.” Luka gave Airi a smirk with a bit of a perverted glint in her eye. Setting the stethoscope up she placed it against the Faunus’s chest to check her lungs. “So you came to Syne just to work as a maid? That doesn’t make much sense to me, you’re file has you listed as a student.” After listening to her lungs from the front Luka moved the stethoscope to Airi’s back and began listening there. When she was finished she took the device from her ears and draped it back around her neck.

Airi's face turned bright red as she had heard her make some kinda claim about her being into getting tied down. She shook her head nearly violently as her short silver hair swung about. "N-no no no no! I-I have never thought about anything lewd like that! P-please don't get the wrong idea, mistress!" Her hand bent at the elbow and waving lightly since she realized that moving her arms around would only make her hurt more. Though after giving herself a second to calm down, the maid remained quiet as she felt the thing placed on her, knowing to take a breathe in and out a couple times, then doing the same as she got to her back and shook her head lightly at her question. "No, that wasn't really the only reason. It's just.. Aside from knowing how to fight I only know how to be a maid, so I asked that aside from my studies that I be allowed to clean here as the academy maid." She smiled, resting her hands on her lap as she looked toward Luka and giggled happily.

Luka had to smirk. “Mistress eh? Never had a student call me that before.” Standing up she walked over and returned the stethoscope to her desk drawer. “Well then until otherwise stated you’ll be on light duty here in my office. And don’t think you’ll be going off and doing your late night cleaning, I’ll be speaking with the headmistress about you and your working yourself to death.” Closing up her drawer she leaned against her desk with her right arm supporting her as she looked at Airi. “I trust you’re going to listen since you don’t seem to be the type of maid who’d go against what she’s been told to do.”

A small smile formed on the maids face as she enjoyed the surprised reaction that Luka had to her calling her mistress. She gave a chuckle from it and nodded. "Yessum~ I call everyone either madam, mistress, sir, or master. It depends on whom I address and the preferences of the person. However it is so habitual for me to do so because of how I was raised and taught I sometimes do it to those who don't like to be called it..." She pushed her index fingers together for a moment before she looked up to Luka as she walked over to her desk to place her tools away. "So, what is your preference? I respect any choice you have so go ahead and let me know!"

She paused as the girl had come to let her know of what she intended to do and telling her to limit her activity. The maid sighed and looked down, saddened a little before she had raised her head back up. "P-please don't tell the headmistress. I don't want her to know or she may not let me do it anymore! I'll be more careful, I promise!" She nodded to her almost frantically and smiled. "Y-yes! I have and always will! I can even come by here and do some cleaning too if you wish. I don't really do the nurses office cause it's always so clean and proper." She took her eyes off the nurse as she looked around the room at how clean it was, very impressed by it.

Luka looked over Airi as she pleaded that she not tell Leena about her current condition in fear that she wouldn’t be allowed to clean the school anymore. “Unfortunately I can’t do that. She’s over working you and its taking a physical toll on your health and as a doctor I can’t allow that to happen. I’ll make sure that once you’ve taken some time to rest and recover that you’ll be able to return to cleaning.” Luka gave Airi a look that seemed sympathetic before she took her arm away from her desk only to fold both of them under her impressive bust. “But honestly, cleaning the ENTIRE academy isn’t a one person job. Especially for a student.” She then walked back over to Airi’s bedside, one heeled shoe clicking in front of the other in turn with the sway of her hips.

“As for my preference on what you can call me. I’ll let you call me whatever you’re comfortable calling me.” Reaching the Faunus’ bed she leaned over, her own face inches from Airi’s, and took the girl’s chin tenderly between her thumb and index finger. “Though you really are my type, I wouldn’t imagine I’d mind too terribly if you started calling me “Darling”.” Releasing Airi with a wink she turned on her heels and headed for the medicine cabinet this time. Opening the glass doors she began looking for something that would help the young maid with her stomach pains.

The maid looked almost heartbroken as she heard she would have to report her incident to the headmistress. However she found it to be completely wrong the way she worded it to Airi, though she was ok to assume her own thoughts. "W-wha? N-no it isn't like that! I.. I'm given a work schedule to go by, but I'm too stubborn to stop at the time I'm supposed to. I HATE leaving a job undone and I've always been told to keep working until I've cleaned everything, so it isn't her fault..." She paused for a moment to let the argument she was putting up sink in. Her eyes peered over as the woman gave her a sympathy look and folded her arms at her chest, making her blush faintly at it. "I've cleaned an entire mansion and my own home on several occasions when I was younger. The academy is only really not that much longer than that. It really is nothing, madam." She replied, still watching the girl as she came closer towards her, pushing her seat out a bit for her in case she chose to sit down.

She smiled. She loved when people let her decide what to call them even if the choice was always the same couple identifications. However, it helped her the best because she would always be able to change them up to keep things from being too bland about it. "If that's what you wish, madam. I'll do so." She only spoke to let her know that she was listening. As Luka got close, she placed her face just close to Airi's own. The maids face grew pink as she had never been so close without being yelled at and once her soft touch pulled at her chin, it turned a bright red. She quietly nodded before the woman walked away towards a cabinet while Airi tried to recover her thoughts, wondering what she meant by "just her type". "A-A-Alright Luka, darling." The words felt odd for her to say, twiddling her thumbs in thought. "W-what did you mean by.. "Just your type", darling? I.. I'm afraid I don't follow." She blinked, looking at her with a straight face.

Luka turned around with a bottle of medication for the girl’s stomach in hand only to tilt her head in a look of confusion at the Faunus’s question. “You mean you’ve never had a woman flirt with you before?” Walking over to her beside once more Luka sat again. “I know having a lesbian flirt with you is odd for most people but well when you find a cutie you wanna take on a date there’s not much you can do right?” Luka laughed as she poured some of the liquid from the bottle into a small cup and handed it to Airi. “That should help with the stomach pains for now. And as for calling me darling don’t feel you need to. Not unless you’re willing to go out to dinner with me tonight first anyway.”

She smiled to herself knowing that of course Airi wouldn’t accept her invitation for a date and there were a number of reasons for it too. To start with she was a student and Luka was a teacher. Of course she hadn’t heard anything about not having personal relationships with the students when she herself was a student in Syne or when Leena hired her post-graduation but she was fairly sure those sort of things were frowned upon. This girl was also currently one of her patients and she was certain that was also frowned upon. Internally she sighed and secretly wished there were more women like her. Putting the cap back on the medicine bottle she returned to her feet only to make her way back to her desk. “Take a nap, get some rest.” Sitting down she started staring out the window once more.

The maid shook her head in reply to Luka's question. She oddly had a smile on her face as she replied firstly with only the shaking of her head. "Goodness no!~ Mama was always with me and there was a long standing tradition with my family and the one we served for. So nobody had ever flirted or hit on anyone that wasn't jokingly, and the was only mama and my older sister." She replied, taking the cup and looking at it as Luka walked away to her desk. She blinked oddly at it as of she never seen anything like that before and set it on the table beside her. "See.. I don't really know how medicine will cure these." She muttered, uncovering the blanket over her body as a couple medium sized cuts tore through her uniform.

As she thought about it, Airi sat up and got to her feet and began to walk over to the desk, despite her wanting her to nap, the maid thought otherwise and stood on the opposite side, her arms down in front with one hand over the other. "To.. Be honest madam, I don't see any problem.. I'm just not used to it. If.. You wanted to date me, you just have to ask. After all, we're both adults by age, correct?" With a blushing smile, she giggled and winked. "But I'll need clothes to look nice in for you, darling~. I literally own nothing but uniforms." She chuckled, though she was serious, she found it funny to think of a romantic dinner in a maid uniform.

As Luka resumed looking out the window in boredom, expecting Airi to have listened to her instructions to take a nap and recover the young Faunus instead seemed to spark up another conversation with her. Turning her chair around to tell her that she didn’t need to take the whole date idea as seriously as she was and that it was unlikely to happen she instead found the girl standing in front of her desk with her hands at her front like Luka would expect a proper maid would. For a minute she ignored what the girl said as her medical training once again kicked in. “What’re you doing up? I said go take a nap and rest.” It took a few more seconds before Airi’s words would process. “Wait, what? You’d really be willing to go out with one of your teachers? And a female one at that?”

She had to lean back in her chair and sigh to herself. Sure she had wanted exactly this, the cute and willing student maid to accept her offer for a date but she hadn’t expected her to accept it. But then the rest of Airi’s words caught up with her. Nothing but maid uniforms? Need to go shopping for something to wear? Luka practically beamed at the prospect of dressing the girl up. “Well, alright. I can’t complain about anything, you really are just my type after all.” Luka gave the Faunus a playful wink. “Now hope back into the bed and get some rest. You won’t get better if you don’t and you won’t be able to go on your first date.”

As Airi stood before Luka, she seemed to be a bit on the agitated side with the faunas maid for going against her advise. Personally, she felt fine but it seemed as though Luka thought differently. However, as she seemed to have caught onto what Airi told her about accepting the date, she seemed rather thrown off at it. The confusion of the matter made the maid giggle with her hand covering her mouth before shrugging at her question. "Yessum darling~ After all, a friend told me I have to expand on my everyday life besides work and studying. And dating and having new clothes seems.. very new to me." She smiled and placed her hand back into place and winked. "And I think of love universally. I don't care if they're male, female, human, faunas, gender reassigned, or anything. Love isn't something you get to pick and choose from, so I take it as I find what type of people I'm particularly interested in.. and you just so happen to be a very high on the chain type, madam Luka!~"

With her speech ended, Airi gave a curtsy to her and returned to her bed, leaving nothing to spare but extra blankets as she covered up and yawned before seeming to pass out extremely quickly... All with a smile on her face.
