Castelina Santiago　I think Finished?

Now, any Normal person in any of the Four Great Kingdoms of Remnant would not Consider Miss Castelina Santiago a "hunter" by any means. "Hunters" were more associated with experience and general competence. Cassie was more of a sleuther, a puzzle solver. She was pretty sub par in the hunting and combat department. But hey, what's why one goes to school, right? To learn?

Our story begins surprisingly recently. No tragic Childhoods, no adversity to overcome, No underhanded betrayals, Just a girl in her early 20's who is really into mysteries. REALLY into mysteries. While she had had a pretty comfortable life so far, living in the desert land of Vacuo wasn't exactly the most exciting thing in the world. To pass the time ever since she was little, she would always read mystery novels and watch cop dramas new and old, all feeding into her dream of being an Ace detective one day. Though she was an adult now, her childhood dreams had yet to die. Burning even brighter than they ever had before. Yearning for adventure now, she had to first figure out a way away from the sandy sauna. There was only one problem with this: she had never gone to any combat school in her life. She wasn't experienced in the slightest. Her pops had taught her a thing or two about an old revolver he had handed down to her, but it was only for self defense and there just was never much use for it. No baddies ever bothered her (though she almost wished they would for the excitement), and the Grimm were left up to the Hunters and never really bothered normal city kids. She had wanted to go to a combat school, but now she was just too old and the ones she WAS old enough for would never take her in. She didn't even know of any special powers she may have had, like all of the Shade students had. So she was prepared to spend life trying to find some other way around these obstacles. So when she heard about an up and coming school in a far off Island somewhere That would let ANYBODY in, She figured Hey, This was as good a time as any to try it out. There were tons of mysteries waiting to be solved, and a small unknown island could be a gold mine, ON TOP OF being a place where she could learn to fight not just Grimm, but General baddies she would find with her Detective "training". The world was filled with Mysteries, and Cassie Santiago intended to solve them all.

This man seemed to be a rather close-minded person. It caused a slight look of frustration with a hint of stubbornness to grace the musician's face. "Good on you for having an opinion and all, but you are not very open, are you Mr.......Man? You shouldn't count out what other people think about the world, or in this case, books. Bit of a life lesson for you there." Out of the corner of her eye, Melody spotted the redhead girl move, and when she looked, she was still picking up books. The blonde let out an irritated sigh. "And still she's cleaning up your mess?" Melody asked the guy, gesturing toward the girl. "Do your own dirty work! What's wrong with you? Are you Faunus or something?" She stopped, her eyes widening in realization of how much sense that made. "You aren't Faunus , are you?" She took a step back just in case. He looked pretty Human, but now she was paranoid.
