Professor Coal

Professor Coal
Coal stepped in the class he was assign to as a teacher and looked around, examining things carefully. The door on the far right end of the class when he watched it from his desk, a small window near on the other side of the room, the vent system right above his desk. Coal sighs. "Great, I won't be able to smoke at my desk inside my own class as the student might complain to the Headmistress about it...Guess the window is the only place that I can....Wait~" He walked toward the window, looked at the floor and at his desk, the students desk, back to his own desk..."It might work..." Coal went into some kind of frenzy as he moved every desk in the whole class, not one was left untouched, all that so his desk could be next to the window. He looked at the mess he had cause as he lighted himself a celebration smoke. "Well it's not my problem anymore..."

He sat at his desk and started to go through some paper work about his class which was basically about anatomy, battle strategy and combat, all regarding the Grimm. Sure Coal wasn't a master Hunter that could tell them how he slayed a giant Nevermore bare-handed. Nah, Coal dealt most of the time with humans and faunus in the past but had some encounters with Grimms too. "Shouldn't be that difficult to teach a random bunch of kids about which way to point their weapon at in a fight. It's not that hard that a baby could do it, and I saw it!" Remembered a case he had work on as a baby shot his father with two different guns while the father was stupidly trying to convince his son not to shoot. "Hell, if I can't train a bunch of twerps how to even defend themselves, then I'll be damned. Ho, hey, come on in."

Coal looked at the door as the first student entered in the class. Coal knew that the student had heard him and didn't care more. He returned at his paper as he said: "Pick a desk a chair and a spot to be, I don't care. You could form a Round Table and it wouldn't bother me. Just don't make too much noise as you move the things around. Clear?" He gave a final stare at the student before looking back at his work.

Richard Lionheart

Richard Lionheart
Richard had decided he ought to show up to class every once in a while...even if the teachers annoyed him and he was honestly too tired for this. He was already regretting his decision, catching wind of not only the teacher's twerp remark but the smoke from his cigarette. His loathing of fire wouldn't let him keep his mouth shut;

He turned up his nose, muttering, "Smoking's bad for you old man. On your way to an early tomb. Choke or burn, either way it's your own fault."

He took a desk toward the back, the furthest from the teacher possible to be exact. He cracked his arms behind his back before doing his neck. It didn't look like this man would be able to teach him to make his bed (Which was in a constant sheet-less state) let alone fight grimm better than he already could. Where had he been when grimm invaded the courtyard? Probably smoking around the back, Richard decided. He let out a loud yawn, immediately slumping down in his chair, hands on the desk, and already clock watching.

The first student made his way inside the room, no salutation, no names, not even a glance. Just a f**king stupid remark on smoking. "You know, kid, what people do is not of your freaking business, so keep your remarks for yourself. I'm the Teach here so you better hold your tongue rather than go lecturing me." He gave him a glare that he would feel even if he wasn't looking.

Coal looked at the boy for a second, analyzing him, trying to figure who he was, figuring his past. Coal stated mumbling to himself some incomprehensible things like he was possessed or something but some words could be heard: Fire, hunting, accident. Coal came to back to himself and looked at his student." You know Richard, it wasn't the fault of anybody so you don't have to close yourself like you do. Also it's not like the mere flame of my smoke will catch the whole building on fire, would be bad, don't you think?" He knew that this would probably hit a sensible spot and wanted to see how he would react. He also raised the file he had on Richard in the air, if he wanted to know how he knew his name, and threw his smoke by the window. "Also, if you think that being afar from me will give you the opportunity to sleep in my class, you're deadly wrong..."Coal gave him another glare as he went back to his work.

Richard's claws extended, their tips piercing the wooden desk in front of him. "You think I'm going to just rollover because you're a teacher? Act like your little pet? Answer your questions?" His glare met the man straight on, "From the look of you, I doubt you could handle a day without cigarettes much less an Ursa. Clothes are too tight, ties are no good for combat. Might as well be walking hanged and as for your fire I doubt the headmistress would like to hear about a teacher smoking in class. All the evidence I need to be rid of you is just down in the courtyard. Good luck beating me down there."

Richard retracted his claws, trying to keep the words of his (far superior) teacher in mind; "Some people can't be reasoned with, it's best to ignore their comments than start a pointless fight as any fight could easily be your last. Do you want to die over such petty things?" He heaved a sigh, resting his head in one of his hands and continued to glare at the clock, urging it to tick faster. The sooner he was out of here the sooner he could read, nap and generaly have fun again. He drew a pencil from his pocket and began to doodle new ways he could manipulate his dust rather than his usual spikes. Shields, weapons and even large chairs for him to recline and nap on.

From the window Artair saw both Richard, at the back of the class, and Professor Coal at his desk. Artair had dodged the cigarette that was thrown out the window by Coal and repositioned himself to make it easier for him to see without being seen. From his position he heard the heated discussion, no, argument that had begun to transpire. Artair began to assume that Professor Coal was going to get really pissed off and kick out Richard, but instead Richard just started zoning out and Artair watched as Richard’s started to drift to the ceiling. Artair then decided to walk to the inside of Syne and join the class. Just before Artair went in he threw his arms outward and back down again then opened the door as quietly as possible and snuck towards a desk when Coal wasn’t looking at the door. He then proceeded to slowly unsheath his main bastard sword and clean it with his clean rag.

What started as a chuckles went to a full laugh from Coal as he heard Richard underestimating him. He picked his pack of cigarette toward him. "You think that I can't hold a day without smoking? Here, keep them for me and I'll show you that I can. Those aren't normal cigarette, they just look like normal but are made using a type of medicine to slow the heart rate to calm and to help focusing. They also don't contain any of the chemical you found in a regular pack. Oh and you, not-so-sneaky guy, if you think that because I'm not looking means that I can't see you, you're wrong. What teacher that teaches about how to fight grimms would I be if I can't even notice a student... Now put that sword in its sheath." He looked at the new student that entered with a glare to be sure he had understood.

His gaze shifted back to Richard afterward. "Now, about that ursa thing, you say that I would be able to take care of one little ursa by myself, correct? Ok then, here's a little lookout of how I'll work in this class.

First of, the situation I'm facing: A fight one on one against an ursa. How does an ursa fights? Generally charging first and without really a tactic. The way to fight it? Taking your time and dodging while taking opportunity to counter attack if it's safe enough. Quite easy if you ask me, but could it be worse? Sure add another ursa and it's sure that the fight will be longer, but still as easy as you only need to dodge both and focusing your attacks on one of them until you go back on a one on one situation. What could be worse than 2 ursas? Well sure you could add ursas as much as you like, but what situation that doesn't contain ursas could be worse? A pack of beowulves. While weaker by themselves, there strength lies in the tactics they can use. Ambushes, cornering a target, focusing their attacks on one single person to take a group down quickly. Beowulves are are stronger than a ursa if you'd them in a fight, but won't as they don't fell any animosity toward each others as they all are grimms in the end.

Do you see now, I would care about that ursa of yours, as a pack of beowulves is already a little more threatening and I already dealt with worse. Tell me Richard, what is the worse creature that walks the earth? You most know the answer, with your origins and all..."
After that rather long speech on one go, Coal poured himself half a glass of whatever was in his flask and drank it as he looked toward Richard for an answer. He then looked toward the door as a new student entered.

OOC: I'd like to wait for some new students to join, so lets wait a little before continuing...

Today was Daemon's first day in the academy and probably the most exciting day of his life. All his life's work had lead up to these moments and it was now time for him to make his dreams come true. His eyes could be seen glancing at a piece of paper with a list of classes for his exciting day. The first being Grimm 101 a class ran by Professor Coal a young aspiring hunter who uses his time to teach the students of Snye Academy. He stood at the entrance of classroom outside the field of vision from the window. He needed a moment to gather his thoughts before his dream could finally start to become offical. Well nothing was going to get accomplished standing at the door so he would decide to twist the door handle and push it open. He would step into the class with his eyes looking down as he began to speak.

"Ahh, Hello Professor Coal I'm Dae..."

Oh great first day here and there is already an arguement between a student and the teacher great... Well in any case he would go ahead and take his own seat in the middle of the class where he was sure to be surrounded by plently of people who would be potential friends in the near future. Yet closed near him sat a rather short young gentle who seemed to be a Faunus just like him. Daemon would turn around in his seat to address the young fellow as his silver tail lifted and curled around his body to appear like some sort of fashionable belt.

"I know you probably don't care at the moment but I'm Daemon Marvell. Your ability to hold back your anger is rather interesting for your spieces of Faunus all the Wolf type Faunus I have encountered have been rather edgy and violent. Hmm I guess things won't be normal here seeing it's Syne Academy where the most brilliant hunters and huntress have been taught."

One could see Daemon's words as blunt and harsh bit of course they were the complete opposite. In fact you could hear a hint of excitement in his voice as his silver pointed ears twitched to follow his voice yet still open for new voices to interrupt this conversation. The greatest part of Daemon's face as he spoke was his gleaming light blue eyes and his pearly white fanged teeth. To makes matters worst Daemon had completely ignored his instructors and probably was going to get scalded for his sudden outbust which may or may not helped diffuse the current disagreement between the classmate and the professor.

Markus walked into class in rather nonchalantly, he had been fairly nervous leading up to this point but this was his first class towards bigger and better things, his brothers had managed before him and unless they have been holding back he was sure he had more potential then them. Needless to say he had some high expectations for himself and he'd be putting in the work to reflect that. On his was he had gotten a bit lost so it was likely a good idea that he left early as he was still pretty sure he wasn't late, not the best start but he didn't cover that mistake right off the bat. Hearing the tail end of the Professors question he decided to wait for the other kid in the class to finished talking before he answered. "The worse creature that walks the earth is my mother." He said with a smile and a bit of a chuckle, an attempt to lighten the seemingly dark mood, he honestly didn't know the answer nor did he think much of it in the past so it did spend some time bouncing in the back of his mind while he took a seat in the back of the class. This choice wasn't for any particular reason other then to avoid having someone smaller then him stuck sitting behind him and he hadn't had any trouble seeing over other people in the past.

With a small survey of the scene he had noticed most of the seat hadn't been filled yet so he had still managed to arrive early or others were late. He also took some notice to the lack of any real organization of the desks themselves, he had anticipation that this would be a normal class but maybe it was set up for some sort of visual demonstration.

With a single slash from his claws the cigarette packaging was segmented, the remains littering his desk. Wanting to waist as much time as possible he turned to the first of the two new arrivals, "I'm Richard Lionheart but I'm no wolf. I'm a Sloth-bear faunus." He pointed to his long sickle like white claws, protruding out his nails. "These are far better for scratching my back than a wolves' would be. Long and curved."

He cocked an eyebrow at the second newcomer's answer, "You might be close, I don't know your mother so I can't tell, but Professor Coot *yawn* the worst creature that walks this earth is a man with power. Their power leads to their pride, *yawn* leading to them believing they can do whatever they want as if their word is gospel. Lock up all they see as wrong. A grimm can kill you but other people can make your life far worse than what you believe comes after death."

Richard swiped the remainder of the packet off the desk, turning back to the clock, "And talking about a scenario is one thing, actually doing it is another. I still doubt you could handle an Ursa."

Octaiva kicked down the door that lead into the classroom, she was way to excited to start learning about things. After I get done with this whole academy thing I am totally going to fight as many grimm as I can! she thought right before she said "Hello everyone I am Octavia Kasai!" being a very loud girl already and also being excited made that simple phrase an extremely loud outburst, which was kinda unnecessary. She looked around and saw a really small person, she had never seen anyone that small. She walked over to the small one and began to repeatedly poke his face as she said "You are so tiny! I didn't know people got that small. How are you so small?" She kept looking at the small person, she couldn't help it though because he was so small. But then again compared to Octavia most people are small.

He had been on his way to the class when he heard a loud thump. He wasn't even going to attempt to make a rush forward, walking through the hall carrying a 11 foot weapon was difficult enough when not trying to run. There were advantages to being 7'2, and being cramped whenever you were inside... well, it wasn't quite one of them. He was showing the little restraint he had when he was walking through the hall. It took him a moment or two, but he finally got to the door, and saw this tall woman giving some crap to a smaller person... a very small person, she wasn't wrong. She wasn't the biggest in the room either. He entered the room behind this woman. He hadn't arrived early enough to hear the earlier bouts with words.

He was smiling, and then from behind Octavia said, "He might be small, but compared to me, even you're small!" He laughed, and held his weapon carefully, it standing straight up on his side, as to not hit anyone. It was a struggle, everything about his was large... maybe not in charge, but quite large. He had a few questions about many things... but none of them were important. Right now, he was merely going to have fun.

Professor Coal

Professor Coal
As he was waiting for Richard to answer, a bunch of new students and entered the class and one of them came with his own answer that left a smirk on Coal's face. "What, your mother, really? I don't know your story, but she must have been quite the woman if she was that terrible to you. Just look at you, you look beef enough to take care of a ursa bare-handed (please don't make pun out of it), not like that twerp over there..." As he pointed Richard, he saw him destroy the pack of cigarettes that he throw him to prevent from smoking for a day. He glare at him a second before saying:"Well, at least we're sure that I can't cheat. Sorry if you were hoping for me to react more. As for your answer, ME being the worse creature, maybe, maybe not, but you have exactly the reason I wanted to hear..." Coal was then, not really cut out of speech, but was stopped by someone entering by kicking the door open. She introduced herself and went directly for Richard remembering him of how small he was verbally and also just by standing there. She was taller than the other guy who stepped in with the mother thing. Coal was trying not to laugh as she was poking him in the face repeatedly but then couldn't help it as an even taller guy made his way into the class. "Now this is what I would call Karma. As I was saying Richard, humans are the worse for exactly the reason you mentioned: They can make your life unbearable, a life of torture and misery... But you can also fall upon good people...Oh and you tall guy, I know it's the Grimm slaying class, but just don't bring your weapon in class next time, it's good for everyone, Clear?"

Ayane Shizuka

Ayane Shizuka
Ayane casually walked the hallways as she headed to her first class of the day, a Grimm study & combat course. She was in no rush as she simply didn't care if she was late or not, especially sense the subject would be a joke to her. She already had a reputation as a top notch fighter in the school, not the best though, and that was the case regardless of who or what she was fighting.

With a large yawn she arrived at the class and stepped through the door way with her eyes shut as the yawn wound down. Just before she opened her eyes to find a seat her blood turned to ice water and her scar started burning like the day the wound was first given as the Professor's words assailed her ears.

"...As I was saying Richard, humans are the worse for exactly the reason you mentioned: They can make your life unbearable, a life of torture and misery... But you can also fall upon good people..."

The words stung her soul in the deepest most parts, especially coming from the voice of the only person who visited her in the hospital all those years ago. Sure child services, doctors, and nurses came and went, but only because they had to, unlike Mikael who came so she wouldn't be alone. At the time she wanted to always see him and when she left the hospital and said her final goodbyes to him she had tears streaming down her face. Now he was the last person in the world she wanted to be around.

All her years of therapy and repressed memories were already unraveling. Swallowing hard she forced her eyes open and looked at the older version of a man she never thought she would see again. Holding back tears she mouthed his name, or rather his old name, silently. With his words ringing in her ears she found a seat and promptly looked away from him.

Alexander Redgrave

Alexander Redgrave
Rubbing his eyes slightly, tired as always at this time in the morning, Alex rolling his neck from side to side as he walked, and was immediately rewarded with the sound of rifle shots as his neck cracked over and over, freeing the Duster from his night stiffness. ”My God that feels soooooo much better.” He moaned, before checking his sheet one more time, fishing it out from his bag. Nodding to himself, Alex ran his finger through his head before breaking into a light jog, his footsteps making no noise even on the marble floors as he hurried to class.

However, when he got there, Alex found out that he might as well not have even bothered, as an entire gaggle of fellow latecomers blocked the doorway. Well, at least I’m not the only one. Must’ve been a harder class to find than I thought. Alex shrugged inwardly after this train of thought, shaking his head at the freakin’ train of massive people in the way. ”My God, do they hand out height steroids at every meal here? Y’all are friggin’ tall. Mind if I get through? You guys kinda are blocking the door- and most of the sky, to boot.” Laughing, Alex stepped forward. Despite his joking plea, Alex easily stepped past them- not because they were spaced apart, but because he was able to find the slightest spaces between then as they shifted weight from one foot to another, insinuating himself between the gaps before continuing onwards. To an outside onlooker, it must have appeared as if he had just ghosted through that crowd, completely intangible.

Raising a single eyebrow at the verbal war between a student and the professor, Alex couldn’t help but chuckle. ”Sorry, must’ve walked into the wrong class. Thought this was Grimm Slaying; didn’t realize the class was taken over by Philosophy.” Shrugging melodramatically before grinning, Alex stared at the helter-skelter arrangement of desks for a moment, questioning just what had happened, before shrugging and going along with it. As he was about to slide into his seat, the girl next to him turned away from the professor, her lower jaw trembling. Sensing the tears that seemed just about the break, Alex suddenly became concerned, just a facet of his nature to care about people.

Looking around, making sure no one was looking at the pair of them (not wanting to draw attention to the girl in her current state) before turning to her, Alex gently placed his hand on her shoulder comfortingly. ”Hey, honey, you all right? Something the matter?” Alex whispered. He mentally cursed himself for such a stupid question; of course something happened- why else would she be crying? Alex shook his head slightly before continuing, careful to keep his voice down so the others couldn’t hear. With her face turned to his side, it seemed as if only he had seen her current state of affairs. ”Stupid question, don’t feel like you have to answer it. Here, take this if you need it.” Alex rummaged around in his suit coat’s chest pocket, pulling out an honest-to-goodness handkerchief, quietly handing it to Ayane with a soft smile.

Daemon watched as student after student flowed into the class each with very different personalities and physical stature. This situation was prime for Daemon to interact with others... to make actual friends like he had so desired. But as his vision focused he noticed everyone was seemingly paired with another either through jokes on height or rather general interest in those around. This in fact is what Daemon had feared would happen... Why was no one talking him interacting with him? This may seem stupid to some but for Daemon he only felt cold loneliness and abandonment. Even though he had managed to to communicate with another student in the class he couldn't help but notice that he hardly cared for Daemon at the time just waiting for the time to pass.

Even the Professor had managed to give Daemon a cold shoulder preferring to indulge his "troubled" students more then him. Sitting rather uncomfortably in his own desk he managed to release a sigh of distress for anyone who'd listen, he at this moment truly looked and felt truly alone... His face rather than disappointed stood blank untouched by what his true feelings are. All he could do was let the noise of chattering classmates, rather violent entrances, and lecturing teacher block his thoughts as he sighed once again before speaking out into three open to yet again no one.

"This might not be how I imagined it... Oh Well I'm here to follow my dreams and I will accomplish just that."

Artair reluctantly decided to sheath his sword before a swarm of students entered, making Artair happy that he picked a slightly hidden spot from everybody. Every single person that entered ignored Artair and either spoke to the Professor or talked to Richard.
At what use is a class on grimm when I have been with a hunter for 7 years. Artair thought. At which time will I need to know about Grimm when Grimm are just beasts that are almost mindless. Almost.
At this thought Artair dove back into his history where he saw a few Beowulves surrounding a small child lost in the woods during his waiting period for Syne. The Beowulves had lured the child into the forest then followed when the child ran, ambushing the child when it tried to exit the forest. By the time Artair had reached the child’s screams there was nothing left. At this time almost everyone had entered the class. And the class was ready to begin.

There was now a lot going on in this class, a lot of things he didn't really want to deal with. To start it seemed his joke went completely over everyone's head and overall the atmosphere hadn't really changed at all. "It wasn't supposed to be taken seriously." He simply commented as he just sat back and glanced around the room as the rest of the events unfold. From his perceptive everyone was pretty weird in their own way it seemed so he couldn't quite blame the Professor for this odd start since dealing with this group must seem more like herding cats as opposed to training new hunters.

He hadn't really been sure what had totally been going on in the classroom but he had his attention focused on the new girl - Octavia, she was the loudest so that would likely cover why it had caught his attention the most. He didn't really get her attitude, not that he felt any reason to think negative of her but he was confused. it was like she had just recently grew taller, walking past short people was a pretty normal thing so he couldn't really see the appeal, if anything he was more impressed that two students were taller then himself.

It was about this point that he assumed that the class should be starting but it wasn't, he couldn't really say it bugged him too much since it was still only day one but part of him wanted to add something to the this and try to get things moving in the right direction, this did seem like the most interesting class he was supposed to have. After a bit of thought he decided to keep to himself an let the teacher do his own thing while just not contributing to the noise. This guy was supposed to be an experienced teacher so he could only assume that things were under control.

Richard's eyebrow twitched as a massive finger poked him. He turned to see a massive woman towering over him as if his distaste wasn't apparent enough in his face he told her, "Prod me again and you'll lose that finger. Better people have tried and all come out worse for wear. As for height at least I can get through the door."

He then saw jet another massive person walk through the door frame... or what remained of it. "...Seriously, what do they put in the water around here... this isn't natural...And Smokey Coot, you want us to leave our weapons unattended while there's a curfew on and we're not allowed out without a teacher? Doesn't that suggest it would be smart to keep weapon in hand at almost all times? And before you say, oh there are people to protect you, they did a fat lot of good when an Ursa showed up a little back and students had do deal with it."

With that said Richard continued to glare at the tall woman, he'd dealt with a similar situation before... granted the woman wasn't as tall but either way he was prepared to deal with the tall woman.

She then looked to the professor and said "I think the shorty is getting angry.. Although he isn't doing much to stop me so I guess getting angry is all his fault.. If he really wanted to do something about it he would fight me right?" She then looked back at the short person and said "Well are you going to challenge me to a battle? Bernats smile didn't wane as he was told that he was told not to bring his weapon next time , especially considering Richards words. However, since he didn't get a reaction from the tall girl, he went and sat down, grabbing a chair and going reasonably back. He wasn't small, so he decided to care a bit. He also put his...staff stabby thing. It wasn't anything crazy though, this wasn't quite the chaos that he thought might be happening in class. He wondered what the Prof would do next. He wasn't going to answer the last question, partly because he didn't hear it that well, and partly because he didn't want to. It wasn't very advanced.

He had to think though, if this man was a teacher... he must be quite skilled. No matter his actual skill level, he must have some sort of skill... much more skillful then Bernat, or at least, that was what Bernat was thinking.

None of his student were showing any marks of respect or if they did he didn't noticed as he was so mad to see such an undisciplined bunch of brats that he decided that it was enough. He took his gun out of its holster and shoot 3 times toward the general direction of the bunch but high enough to miss all the giants he had as "students". "OKAY NOW I HAD ENOUGH! Now all of you shut the hell up and get to their seat. From now on, if someone decided to act like he's the boss, that tries to be funny, that doesn't listen, I'll throw them personally out of this class with my foot in their ass! Is that CLEAR?" He took a moment to look at the student before turning around and looking at them once more to say:"Oh if someone tries to be a smartass, no need to show up to any of my class anymore, you'll still be registered for it but you won't get any grade. And don't think about saying a thing to the Head, she knows how I work..."

Coal then looked around hoping to see the students to listen as he noticed a girl nearly crying with a guy next to her lending a handkerchief for the tears that could be shed at any moment. "Did I make her cry by shouting?" did he thought, "Nah a huntress that cries because of someone shouting wasn't right, then why?" As the girl turned toward the other boy, Coal saw her scar that was without a doubt unique. He realized not just that he knew the girl who bears that horrible scar, but that she noticed and remembered him as well. The memories of the visits at the hospital came back like a waterfall, not that they left him, how could he forget her, but all of them seemed more real than usual. He slowly walked toward her to be sure she wouldn't react badly toward him. "Can we talk outside a minute? All of you stay here, it won't be long..." He then slowly walked toward the door and waited outside for her to come.

Ayane Shizuka

Ayane Shizuka
Under normal circumstances Ayane would have smacked the boy senseless if it wasn't for her battling her tears. It had been years sense she had last cried and she was trying her best to keep it that way. So instead of injuring the boy she simply shrugged him off giving him the cold shoulder. As she did so the class around her became ever more chaotic as her classmates treated each other like the Grimm they were supposed to be learning how to fight. Crying or not Ayane was getting ready to knock some heads around as she was simply not in the mood for this crap. Luckily though Mikael seemed to have had enough as well, something he made quiet clear with his gun shots and subsequent yelling.

Hearing the man who showed her the first rays of kindness in her life speak as cruelly as her parents once did to her simply caused her crack outer shell to shatter and the flood gates to open. With a quick motion she reached out and took the handkerchief and rewrapped her arm around her head in an effort to hide her tears. Luckily the tears were silently streaking down her cheeks like molten rock down the side of an overflowing, but not erupting, volcano. As she wiped at her eyes from the confines of her arm cave she heard Mikael approach and ask to speak to her outside.

With a deep breath and a last wipe of her eyes Ayane got up and walked out of class. While unable to hide the fact that she had been crying she refused to be scene with tears streaming down her face by her classmates. Once she was in the hall alone with Mikael though Ayane had a flash back to herself in the hospital as a young girl hugging onto Mikael and crying. Before she knew it the flash back was reality again as the tears streamed down her face and her face was buried into his shoulder.

Alexander Redgrave

Alexander Redgrave
Alex, frankly, was flabbergasted. He was used to women snuffing him. He had had drinks poured on him before, he’d been slapped, he’d been spurned, and he’d even one time had an unfortunate incident involving his own revolver, rather sticky honey that refused to become mead, and an unfortunately thrown rubber chicken. He had never, however, had a girl begin crying harder. Still, Alex recognized the girl before him as a warrior above all else, a fellow Hunter, so as she snatched away the handkerchief, Alex studiously looked away, focusing on anything but her until the teacher took the girl.

A quick study of the crowd, Alex decided to draw the attention to him, so the girl’s tears, if they were seen at all, would be quickly forgotten. Anyways, if I’m honest at all, it’s more than a little because I’m just that damn egotistical. Everyone focused on me? Yes please. Alex could not help but grin to himself. ”Soooo, did I miss anything in this class, or was it pretty much insanity this entire time? Also, if that fight’s gonna go down after class, my money’s on the redhead.” Alex rested his chin on his hand, hooking his other thumb towards Octavia as he addressed his fellow students.

Laxus Castrea

Laxus Castrea
Daemon stayed silent the whole time people still hadn't noticed his existence but that couldn't have been such a bad thing seeing all of this craziness. In fact since he had gone unnoticed he had plenty of opportunity to observe everyone in the room knowingly or unknowingly. His ears infact were able to pick up the slight sound of weeping yet he had decided to ignore it out of compassion. No one else seemed to notice as far as he knew so why would he draw attention towards it. The professor seemed to calm down the class yet to no avail as one young lad began drawing attention to himself to do began bets on the fight between the red head and the little one. Daemon would yawn as he flashed his teeth before resting his head on the desk until this became an actual classroom...

How could this Professor still have his job? His priorities were in the wrong place... Arguing with students making bets I thought this was suppose to be a Grimm class not some unruly betting hall. In any case Daemon couldn't wait until this class was over even as laid his head on his desk time seemed to move slowly the rest of the room seemingly motionless filled with only the sound of those within it. Was this the process of becoming a full fledged hunter, is this was his time here destined to be like. If that's the case he should have stayed home...

Richard Lionheart

Richard Lionheart
Richard's ears twitched as the shots were fired and he glowered at coal as he walked out with a girl who looked to be crying, "Don't have to worry about that, I don't plan on coming back. No point in enduring some weak smoker's talk for days on end."

As the door shut Richard began to look back up at the tall woman, an uncaring lazy glint in his eyes with a yawn he told her, "Isn't it more an insult to your pride that I don't think you're worth my time? You're too big a target for me to be bothered fighting, it'd be simple, you can't be stealthy nor surprising at your size. You can hardly reach me so how would you lay a finger on me while I'm moving? Big person like you almost certainly relies on brute strength alone. I'd take your ankles out and you'd be immobilised where do you go from there? Even if I couldn't your cape is a huge sticking point... and you up the back taking bets you look like even less of a challenge, least that's what your attire suggests, but if you so desperately want attention then you fight her. Be fun to see her kick you about for a bit."

Richard then threw his legs up on the table, leaning back. He could really go for forty winks right now and hoped that girl would keep Coal outside long enough to get a light nap in.
