Azrael

Azrael
Kompress Beach was quiet this evening. The sun setting over the ocean left an angry red scar on the horizon. It was almost as if the sky was wounded and bleeding. A lone faunus sat in the sand staring blankly out to sea. Unlike certain members of his species, he took absolutely zero measures to hide what he was. After all, why should he hide his birthright? There was no need to, if someone had an issue with what he was, he would cut them down in an instant.

This Faunus is known as Azrael, though few knew his real name. Azrael preferred it this way after all. The past is just that, the past. Azrael preferred not to dwell on it. The present and more importantly, the future, were more important, and required his full attention. As for the present, Azrael certainly wasn't here just to stare at the sea and think about himself. No, he was summoned here.

A letter had arrived at the hotel that he was staying in, written by a colleague of his. In short, the letter requested the Faunus's presence for a meeting at this beach. Azrael didn't particularly care for the beach, but it was as good of a place for a meeting as anywhere else. Azrael had left his room and left for the beach at a leisurely pace. He didn't really care if he was late for this meeting anyways. As luck would have it he seemed to be the first to arrive. With a shrug Azrael had found a visible spot on the beach to sit and relax. And that brings us to the current situation. A lone Faunus, on the beach, staring at the sunset, waiting for the others to show up for this meeting.

While I'm waiting might as well take a nap. Azrael thought to himself as he laid back with his arms resting behind his head. His eyes closed and he started working on drifting off to sleep. They are taking their sweet time after all.

Richard Lionheart

Richard Lionheart
Richard cast his line again, he hadn't been to this beach before but had been lured by tales of giant fish lurking in the sea's depths. Fishing was the only sport he could really be bothered with as it was really just waiting, cooking and eating, that and he could read while he waited. He was sitting out on the edge of a short pier, book in hand and Keyll acting as both his rod and line with a fish impaled on one of its sharp blades as hook and bait, he'd lost track of time hours ago. There was a small bucket of fish on his left, a few crabs in there to, but he hadn't caught anything in at least an hour. However he was too absorbed in his book to notice or even care, his headphones amplifying that effect. Finishing a chapter he stretched, taking in his surroundings. The tide was fully in, reducing the beach line, and despite the late hour a few people were still on the beach.

Oliver Balcross

Oliver Balcross
Oliver sauntered across the beach with a slight sag in his step. He didn’t seem overly cheerful but he didn’t seem quite sad either. “A Meeting huh.” He happened to notice a Faunus sitting on the sand watching the sunset and a familiar face (to him anyway) On the pier trying to fish. “Clearly he’s doing it all wrong… But whatever.” Oliver sighed and took a deep breath. Taking in the sea air as he straightened his jacket. Sighing he strolled over to a nice patch of sand not too close to the faunus but not too far from him either. He grabbed Malevolent Wyvern and put it on the ground beside him. Then he took off his grey jacket (Which was really more of a slightly collared trenchcoat) laying it on the sand. He sat down on his jacket and started to gaze upwards towards the sky. ‘I wonder what it’s like to fly...’ Sighing Oliver pulls his scroll from one of the interior pockets of his jacket and a pair of headphones. He plugs them into the scroll and puts them on his head.

Rei Hikari

Rei Hikari
It's been a very long day for Rei Hikari, having to deal with class in early morning, a Spar before her second class and then dealing with her class based on Semblance. Topping it all off was the fact that despite the tiring day, she still wanted to hunt down some GRIMM, which ended up being a piece of handiwork since Rei had taken their masks as souvenirs to place in her dorm room. Stretching out while laying down on the lawn of the Academy, Rei decided that maybe it was time to get some time at a nearby beach, in this case she was very fortunate that it happened to be a few minutes away from the Academy itself.

Going behind a thick set of tress so nobody would be able to see Rei use her semblance, she changed into moderately tight Ripped Jean Shorts colored Baby Blue that went halfway down her thighs, the usual chain main leggings though there were colored snow white this time around with cyan blue snow flake designs. She was now also wearing a Deep Cyan Ice Blue Blazer that seemed normal length for a shirt, and was also wearing a Snow White zip-up Hoodie that was only halfway zipped up since the weather was still somehow bearable like this for her.

Upon arriving at the beach, known as Kompass Beach, Rei noticed that there were familiar faces out of the blue. Both seemed to be from her earlier class based around Semblance, she didn't pay much attention to them though, but if they wanted to strike conversation she would have to reply just to be nice. Quickly scanning the perimeter, she noticed that one of the boys was fishing and sadly doing it wrong as well. Spotting a Faunus as well, it made sense to Rei's thought processing that he was waiting for people and would be a good idea...or not to wake him up and try to start a conversation with him and others. Though being people shy, Rei had preferred this time to wait it out a few minutes until she gets settled in the Beach.

It was then that the boy she sat next to in class was just standing there in the sand, something she somewhat admired since the night sky was filled with many stars. Rei could at the very least talk to this person since it was something she had in common with him, walking towards him in a casual manner and tapping his shoulder, she smiled at him. "Hey Oliver, what brings you here to the Beach?" Rei asked with sincere intent as to why there were actually quite a few people here at this time of day.

Azrael

Azrael
Azrael's ears twitched. People were coming. He heard one... no two sets of footfalls. There was also the sound of something small in the water. Was someone fishing? Azrael must have been too absorbed in his thoughts to notice. Sloppy. Azrael opened his eyes, the purple orbs scanning the beach. A man was fishing, not that he appeared interested in the fishing at all. His face was firmly pressed to a book he was reading. His "fishing rod" was quite the interesting thing as well. Azrael approved of the Hunter using his weapon for more practical purposes.

As for the other Azrael could barely see him out of the corner of his eye where he lay. There was a young faunus listening to something. A weapon lay on the ground next to him. Oh these must be students of that academy. Those two were obviously not summoned here either. They probably were just here to relax or something. Azrael didn't mind that, though he was concerned about the meeting being in such a public place.

But wait, wasn't there another pair of footsteps. There was a third person here. Azrael focused on his hearing, making sure someone wasn't trying to sneak up on him. That wasn't the case though as a raven haired girl approached the Faunus next to him. At a cursory glance she seemed to be human, and not that bad looking either. Azrael could appreciate what she was wearing, even though the clothing looked rather hot to be wearing to the beach.

Azrael tried to close his eyes and sleep again. But the girl started a conversation with the faunus boy. He obviously wasn't going to get his nap. With a sigh Azrael sat up. It may be a good thing to talk with these students anyways. Azrael needed information after all.

Azreal reached next to him and grabbed Nyctores. It's current form was a pair of foot long silver revolvers. He stood up and holstered them on his back, the handles sticking out from behind his sides, where they are easy to grab. He brushed the sand off of his torn black jeans and put on his warmest smile as he approached the girl and the boy he assumed was her friend.

"Hey there, you two wouldn't happen to be... uhhh what was the name of that place again?." Azrael put on a puzzled expression before he snapped the fingers of his left hand. "Ah yes! Syne students?"

(Eli note: I did not screw up in this post at all, no one saw anything!)

Richard was immersed in his book when he felt it, first a slight twitch then a massive tug. He’d caught something, dropping the book into his lap he yanked on the chain, reeling in his prey. He stood and began to pull the chain harder, whatever this was it was of a decent size and certainly bigger than anything he’d caught prior. The claws on his right hand extended. He flicked the chain straight up, flinging the fish straight up into the air and toward him. It was a big one, longer than his arm, but he’d lined up the shot. He cut straight along the fish’s underside, gutting it in one slash. The spine soon followed, falling out and onto the wooden boardwalk along with the other guts. He held it at arm’s length, chain still in its mouth. He unhooked the fish and dropped it in his bucket. He took off his headphones looked at his book and sighed, wiping the fish blood on the inside of his pocket, he’d lost his page.

Ius Iuris

Ius Iuris
The sea breeze blew in her hair as she ran on the sandy beaches close by the school. Her scarlet red hair drifted off behind her as her jogging cloths bounced up and down, her feet slamming into the ground as she picked up speed. Ius was on a run, typical behavior for herself. Running was one of the few things in life she loved to do, even if her unemotional face showed no signs of such a thing. Her blade was in her room, locked away tightly in it's case. It worried her. She knew the blade would only slow her down, but she was terrified of the beach enough as it was. She was currently running where the water could just barely reach, terrified of what the waters them selves hid away from her.

Running up to three figures, she began to slow down. Two of them looked familiar, faces she had briefly seen on campus in the brief time Ius had already spent at the academy. But the thrd face didn't look familiar. The third face didn't look like the face of someone who would go to the academy. Keeping her eyes off the man, trying to arise suspicion, she began to slow down in order to eaves drop on the conversation.

Oliver Balcross

Oliver Balcross
Looking up from his resting position to see a familiar female face looming over top of him. “Hey Rei. Just relaxing.” He rests his head back down on his coat and sighs. Staring up at the starry sky. Adjusting the Olive green headphones on his head he looks to the stars. “You ever wonder what it’s like to be a star Rei? It’s just a thing tha-” Oliver abruptly stopped himself as he noticed a Faunus approaching him. Nodding slowly at his question. “Yeah I’m Oliver Balcross. First Year Student at Syne Academy. Why do you ask?” Oliver tilted his head to the side slightly. Looking down at Malevolent Wyvern he puts it behind his back. “Apologies for the weapon. With Grimm in the area and all I gotta keep safe y’know?” Oliver flopped back down onto his back. Gazing up at the stars with this glint in his eyes. Oliver looked at peace. Content with what he was doing.

Rei Hikari

Rei Hikari
It was easy for Rei to be able and tell that Oliver was somehow thinking about something, possibly something deep, he leaned his head back onto his coat and sighed after she caught up to him and asked what brought him here. Rei decided to look up into the sky just as Oliver had been doing for who knows how long, and saw that it was beautifully starlit and well in her mind...romantic to an extent. The first words of Oliver seemed to cross into her mind, "Yeah, I kind of understand what you-" but the rest faded out even as he was interrupted, that was when a Faunus walked towards them and asked something about if they were a part of Syne Academy.

Rei sighed slightly since her little romantic day-dreaming was seemingly interrupted, but with good intentions. The Faunus looked friendly, wearing nothing but jeans and a ripped kind of male blazer and had white hair. The appearance of this person seemed to be...leaning towards the more majestic type since White Hair was not all that common around these parts, well at least with the students she has seen so far. Rei looked at the Faunus, and smiled back at him, "Yeah, I'm Hikari, Rei. Also a First Year Student at Syne Academy, it's been a...long day." Rei stated to the Faunus with a sincere yet somehow, cold tone and then continued, "I'm not carrying my weapon right now, just decided to stroll around here and well..." Rei blushed a little since she did think Oliver was somewhat handsome but didn't want to really say anything. "I just happened to bump into Oliver just now." Finishing with a calm tone, more or less trying to hide her blush as she crossed her arms over her jeans and placed her hands one over the other like a typical embarrassed girl would subconsciously do.

Thoughts raced into Rei's mind, not about the romantic outcome although it sounded nice in her head to start off with. What seemed to bother Rei even more was that maybe this Faunus was here possibly for quite some time waiting for somebody specific, it made her semi-suspicious of him but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. "As much as I would hate to use my Semblance here and now, if he pulls any punches, I won't hesitate to fight back..." Rei thought with instinctive protection of not just Oliver, but the others around the area.

Ghost Xero

Ghost Xero
A day at the beach, or night rather, if you wanted to be all technical about it. Really, Day or Night, nothing really changed. Only the sky. The cool sea breeze was just as refreshing, the sand just as irritating, and the water just as salty and wet. So what if blackened sky had some stars up in it? Well, generally a lot of people cared. One could go to the beach at night and find it deserted, empty, but even more pristine than in the daytime. That is what made Kompress Beach at night such a favorable meeting place.

Yes, meeting place. Xero was not there to enjoy the sea, There was to be a meeting here but it was eventually cancelled. Xero simply... forgot to relay the information to his partner. ~Whoops~. He might have very well left Azrael there all night, but since he was told to tell him about the meeting's cancellation, he would. Just fashionably late. He wondered how long Az had been there alone. Honestly, He would probably actually enjoy the peace, what with his constant lazying about no matter where he happened to be. It was ridiculous. In any case, Xero would come up upon the meeting place to find that he was wrong about most of his thoughts up until this point.

As it turned out, There were actually quite a few more people than he expected to be around, A young man, reading and fishing with some sort of weapon, and a young couple speaking to each other, one with his own weapon laid out on the sand. Hunters? No, not quite, a full hunter would not handle his weapon so. No, they were students. Syne students. Much to his interest, Xero then spotted Azrael not napping, as he had expected, but actually conversing with that couple from Syne. Was he trying to get preemptive information? Who did he think he was? Xero never gave him permission to do that! The blue headed man almost took a step forward toward the stupid faunus, before he noticed yet another person milling about the beach. Milling was such an understatement however, as she was moving particularly slowly and seemed to be hanging around the little group Az had formed. Xero knew an eavesdropper when he saw one.

Quietly, he came up behind the girl and suddenly grabbed her arm with a fierce grip, promptly dragging her to his partner. "Azzy~! I'm disappointed. It's not like you to let a spy roam free." He threw the spy girl to the ground and pinned her down with a foot on her back. "What 'cha doing here so late, huh? Making some new friends?" he nodded toward the direction of the two Hunters in training.

Azrael

Azrael
The Faunus boy looked like he was about to ask the raven haired girl something when Azrael interrupted them. He regretted the fact that he possibly interrupted a conversation between friends, but he wanted to gather information, and most importantly, he was bored. The boy stated his name as Oliver Balcross, first year at Syne. Good good. He also apologized for his weapon. Now that Azrael got a better look at the weapon, it certainly LOOKED intimidating. The best way Azrael could describe it is if a chainsaw combined with a pizza cutter and a fire axe. The wounds that weapon could inflict on someone, it made Azrael cringe at the thought. It seemed a little, barbaric though.

The girl introduced herself as Rei Hikari, also a first-year student, but lacking a weapon. She was rather cold, probably because she's uncomfortable talking to strangers, or perhaps she sensed his intentions. Either way, Azrael would remain friendly until he was forced to change his behavior. She did seem rather flustered around Oliver though, Azrael quietly giggled at her shy behavior. I guess you're a lucky guy Oliver.

Azrael also saw a redheaded human out of the corner of his eye lingering at the edge of the group. Not that it mattered that she was eavesdropping. Azrael was just holding a casual conversation after all. If she wants to be nosy, so be it. Besides, Azrael had a soft spot for redheads, even if they were humans. He would keep an eye on her, but nothing more.

After the two students he was talking to finished talking Azrael started to respond. "Don't worry about it Mr. Balcross. One can never be too careful." Azrael gave a wink and patted the handles of the two revolvers on his back. "I heard that a Grimm broke onto campus though, nasty business. I thought Hunter Academies had protection against that kind of thing." Azrael let out a laugh and scratched the back of his head. His fox tail waved twice.

"Don't mind me though. I just wanted to have a conversation with someone interesting while I'm waiting for some.." Azrael trailed off as he saw the redheaded girl get grabbed and tossed to the ground. A familiar voice called out to him. Saying it wasn't like him to let a spy roam free. Azrael let out an exaggerated sigh. Now he shows up... Azrael turned to a man standing triumphantly over the fallen girl, one foot holding her down. Black hair, nice suit, sadistic tendencies. Yep, this was Xero... Azrael's 'associate'. Though Azrael was extremely reluctant to associate with this scum. If there ever was someone who Azrael wanted to poison, set up a sushi restaurant, cut into tiny pieces, turn into sushi, and feed to his human customers. Xero was that person.

Once Xero was done flapping his gums Azrael responded. "And it's exactly like you to molest random girls at the beach, Xero." Azrael spat that last word out like it was something tainted. Azrael reached into his pocket and pulled out a letter, the same one that summoned Azrael to this beach, the same one written by the human in front of him gloating over the body of some random bystander. "I'm here because you said there was a meeting here." Azrael punctuated the sentence by throwing the letter like a shuriken directly at Xero's forehead. "I thought we weren't supposed to just attack people Xero. You should really get off that girl." Azrael stated while walking towards Xero and the girl. Hopefully Xero would comply, otherwise Azrael would just gently push Xero off the girl. He crouched down next to her. Offering a hand to help her up with a warm smile. "I'm really sorry about that Miss. I know you just wanted to spend time with your friends. Xero is just an asshole, and a pedophile." Azrael made that last part up of course, but that wasn't the point. He waited to see if the girl took his hand or not while keeping an eye on Xero.

"Page 91? No. Page 92? No.  What about 100?" he hissed, “He stabbed-" he slammed the book shut, "Spoiler damit!" He sighed, he’d have tricky time relocating his place this far into the novel without spoiling it. He shoved the book in his front pocket, it was a tight fit but he managed without damaging it, and shortened Keyll’s chain before reattaching it to its holster. He turned, picked up his bucket (now full to the brim), and made his way onto the beach. When he first set foot on the sandy land he felt the tension in the air. He scanned the beach and quickly found a small group of people, some sitting some laying and one standing with their foot on the back of another. Well that didn’t look good, a scuffle between friends? Possibly. But he did get a cruel vibe coming from the one standing atop the girl’s back. A bully perhaps?

This was none of his business and he should probably go, it would be bad idea to let the fish go off or get sandy, besides he had live crab with him and he was tired. A gust of wind blew by and sand flew into the air. He got an idea, he would stay and observe and if things got much more violent well, he took a seat in the sand and measured out the distance between them and him in his head 9.5 no 9.6 meters and in the dark to boot, that meant only faunus would get a good view of him, he’d just have to intervene. He sat Keyll in his lap, one hand atop its shortened chain, and pulled back out his book, flicking to find the right page with his thumb, starting at 93. He kept his gaze half on the group. Even without a gust of wind he could still deal with this. He had limitless options for his attack or his escape.

Nodding at the Faunus as he mentioned the Grimm break-in. “Yeah that was pretty bad. Although I heard two teachers and two students took care of it. However I was not one of them so I don’t know the whole story.” Oliver seemed decently interested in voicing his opinions on the matter. Nodding as the Faunus explained his reasoning for coming over. “Oh I assure you it’s quite alright. Conversation is quite nice.” Hearing some commotion over by a tree behind him Oliver rolled over on to his stomach to get a good look at what was going on behind him. Noticing a redhead being pinned down by a blue haired man. ‘Well it looks like SOMEONE is having fun. But alas. Should probably break it up.’ Oliver sighed as he stood up. Grabbing his jacket and weapon. Placing them on his person in proper order before strolling over to the commotion. Noticing that the Faunus he talked to earlier seemed to have a wrap on things he returned to his spot beside Rei. Placing his weapon and jacket on the sand and laying back down. All the while keeping some of his attention focused on the commotion behind them. “Well now that that’s over I suppose we can get back to OUR conversation.” Oliver smiled slightly as he looked up towards the night sky again. “I’ve always wondered. What’s it like? Y’know. Being Human and all…”

Ius Iuris

Ius Iuris
As she hit the ground, Ius was very confused. who had grabbed her? As she looked up, she only shook her head. Her face was void of emotion and her body didn't move, but her Semblance did. Her semblance allowed her to urn her aura into a blade, and have it shoot out from any point of her body. even her back.

A red blade was shoot out of her back and into the mans foot, allowing for her to swing to the side and stand back up. Looking at the man, she cracked her neck. It would be almost impossible for her blade to have missed at something that was virtually a smaller distance then point blank range. However, stranger things had happened.

"What are you two doing here." She asked, sensing that they weren't hear just to have a casual stroll in the park .

(I'm so sorry for the wait, i was so busy this week xD)

Rei Hikari

Rei Hikari
"Just what the hell is happening right now?! First my conversation with Oliver gets interrupted, not that it was much...now the Red-Head from class earlier is here on the ground." Rei thought this to herself as the events came out pretty quickly, nothing she couldn't handle though. What made things seem slightly weird however, was that Oliver was prepping to attack 'Xero' without hesitation, if the situation called for it however. She did recall that Oliver just said something about the GRIMM attacks at campus being handled by two students and teachers respectively, she happened to be one of those students earlier today to handle some of that.

The Faunus seemed to handle situation with ease however, since he went over to talk to the guy who had his foot over the girl. Before Rei had turned away however, she took note that the Red-Head was using her semblance to well....hurt her opponent on the foot, "Ouch... that'll leave a mark." Rei thought as she turned back to keep the conversation going with Oliver. She then heard Oliver just say something about going back to THEIR conversation, which Rei sighed in relief, it was good to let it out since she was semi-stressed throughout the day.

"Yeah, let's get back to what we were talking about just now... please." Rei said, a little saddened by the turn of events, but she couldn't help that feeling. A long day on top of this stress, who wouldn't sigh like that to let off the relief. Oliver then pretty much finished up his question, the one that he was about to finish before the Faunus had come to conversate with them. "I've always wondered. What's it like? Y'know. Being Human and all..."

Rei really couldn't help but smile wryly at the question Oliver asked her, it had both it's ups and downs, but mainly downs to be honest. "Truth be told, sometimes I wish I was born a Faunus, my parents ar-were ironically both Faunus and I didn't get the genes of either, happened get the side of my Grandparents..." Rei started speaking in a low tone, only for Oliver to hear. "I guess, being Human isn't all what Faunus' would dream about. We're more fragile than you are, we aren't as physically fit naturally, and we don't have the enhanced senses that you guys do as well. But I guess, being Human is just like... being a normal kid or adult for the most part." Rei finished her answer to Oliver while beginning to lay down next to him on her back, so that her face was next to his.

Rei paused for about a minute or so taking the time to enjoy the night sky and stars before beginning to speak again. "Look Oliver," Rei started with a sympathetic voice, "Don't feel bad about being a Faunus... trust me, if you knew my past... I think you'd stay away from me in all honesty." Rei finished while beginning to get up again, unsure if Oliver would stop her to hear about her past or comfort her. If he looked into her eyes, Oliver might be able to tell that Rei hasn't actually had the... ideal life of a Human being, rather more of the wrecked part of life. And that she was broken inside, with literally nobody to fully give her trust to.

(Can't tell if Ius' question is being directed towards Oliver and I or to Azrael and Xero. Guess I'll leave it up to future posts to decide, oh and I hate that literally three people so far have their eyes on Rei so far xD it's gonna be annoying)

Ghost Xero

Ghost Xero
Xero felt a sharp pain on his foot, and looked down to see that the spy girl had shot some kind of blade of aura through his foot. Sure, it hurt, It hurt like hell actually, but that didn't mean that Xero would let her up. He wouldn't even show any sign of pain, making it seem that he had been completely unfazed by the attack. People might even doubt he got hurt in the first place. Ignoring pain was something he had taught himself long ago, something that would allow him to keep his calm and sarcastic demeanor not matter what the circumstance. This included the natural human instinct of fight or flight. his mind was wired to choose fight every time, showing no weakness, and showing no mercy. So instead of flinching at the pain as most would, he reacted by adding some weight to his now injured foot, holding the girl down even more. He laughed as he activated his semblance from his foot, fire expelling from the body part. this would serve as an undodgeable point blank burn to the spy's back, as well as to seal to the wounds on Xero's foot, if only to have the blood clot so it would not stain the golden sand with red. So the blood would not show. It would hold probably until he made it back to camp, but he chose not to think about it now. Besides, the pain was already fading. Most pain was caused by initial shock after all.

Only when he had deactivated the fire did Xero move his foot, non verbally giving the girl permission to stand. "What are we doing here you ask? Why, I was simply looking for my friend here." He donned a straight face of innocence as he gestured toward Azrael. "But rest assured I am not here to fight, nor is Azrael." That said, Xero pulled Out his weapon, a battle axe folded into a gun, and aimed it at the spy girl's head with a sinister smile now on his face. Truth be told, he could have destroyed her right here, along with anyone else who would dare oppose him, and he wanted to, but he was under orders not to cause too much trouble. Any pain he had caused thus far had been out of self defense. "But listen well girl. You should be counting your lucky stars, as I am an enemy you don't want to make." he looked at the other students evenly, his eyes expressing that the same statement goes for each and every one of them. He then laughed again and put his weapon back in the holder on his back. He then looked back at Az. "I think it's about time we left, wouldn't you say, Azzy?" He walked off, not caring if Az followed. He had done what he was asked to do.

Azrael

Azrael
Azrael frowned when the girl didn't take his offer to help her up. He also sighed when Xero decided to burn her and be even more rough. Silly girl. You're just provoking him at this point. Azrael let Xero blab on and on and on and prance his big axe around like he's some sort of bird of paradise. Azrael waited until Xero had pointed his gun at the girl before calmly walking up to him and bringing his fist down on the top of his head. "What the hell do you think you are doing! Stop making such a big scene you hotheaded moron! Just let your pride be for TWO FREAKING SECONDS so we can actually get business done!" Azrael raised his voice, something he hasn't done in a very long time. Azrael usually tried to be calm about these things... but that man had a way of getting to him.

Azrael didn't know if he got through to the moron, but Xero holstered his weapon at least. Xero suggested they leave and walked off, just like that. Azrael let out a big exaggerated sigh, his hands at his hips as he shook his head. His tail twitched once. "Yeah, good meeting everyone!" He said quietly. Azrael would've much preferred to be partnered with her than this asshole. At least they had similar goals. Xero was just unreadable, just being sadistic at all times. Az had no idea why Xero was even here.

Azrael went back to his calm and friendly expression and turned to the group. "Looks like I have to go as well, my reason for being at this beach is gone. Enjoy the sun and the sea!" Azrael started walking away, waving behind him as he left. He had some other business to attend to. He should probably read some Poe. It might help with his particular problems.

Richard stood, dusting the sand off is legs, he'd found his page. Well, that had happened he watched. It would seem that two of them weren't friends to the group. He dog eared the book and shoved it in his let pocket, shoving Keyll into his right. He was glad he hadn't lost his fish though, he picked up the cold steel bucket. The blue haired man was appeared more dangerous, having the guts to threaten a student despite being outnumbered. His weapon a gun which, from the look of it, could turn into an axe of sorts. He'd keep his eyes open for him, if he was awake that is. He let out a yawn, he'd been out here too long. He trudged across the academy, on his way to the dorms for some much needed sleep. He'd have to find a freezer to store his fish in before he dozed off.

Sighing slightly Oliver stood up and picked up his weapon and jacket. Nodding to Rei as he noticed the two adults and Richard leave. “I better go Rei… Those two look up to something shady…” Oliver started to dash off towards the town as he snatched up his weapon and fastened it to his back. Watching all the trees dash past him he came up to the edge of the beach. Looking back at Rei he shouted down the hill “See you back at school!” Oliver turned the other way with a smile on his face as he dashed towards Bellmuse. Gotta get to the News… Gotta tell them… Gotta Warn them… Oliver seemed determined to do what he had to do. Afterwards. Headmaster. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. News first. Headmaster Second. Nodding to himself Oliver picked up his pace with a little more determination than before. Off to the Bellmuse News Station.

Rei couldn't really say or do much when she saw that those two people were not of friendly alias towards herself and the other students here at the Beach. Sighing heavily because she actually thought she just found some new people to spar with, when in reality it didn't work out as she hoped for. Noticing that Oliver picked up his weapon and seeing what looked liked an urgent expression of his face. Nodding at her before he started to dash.

Rei couldn't help but begin running after Oliver also as he said the words that seemed to ring something in her mind: "See you back at school!" Well, there was nothing Rei could do about this situation. Rei stopped running just for a few seconds as she got by the trees in Oliver's direction, looking up once more at the starlit sky thinking to herself, "So, who are those two people... enemies? Or allies? Probably the ladder..." After thinking that, Rei began running back towards the school to obviously catch up with Oliver, but also get some MUCH needed sleep for once. Things had begun to get interesting and with more students arriving day by day, who knows what can happen next.
