Savalith

Savalith
Wondering around lost within skylight woods Savalith had a hard time finding his way around the place. The only reason why he came to this area was because he got annoyed at the loud noise over at syne academy due to his current hangover that morning. He needed to get away from the college and without realizing it he walked into a place where the scenery was completely new to him. He didn't know how to get back since his mentality told him to keep walking forward and don't turn back, something he regrets now. In any normal situation Savalith wouldn't care less about having to return to the academy but in this particular scenario it became his number one objective simply for one reason, it was the only place to grab some liquor and food.

"Now that I think about it, I haven't had anything to eat this morning, have I?"

Savalith placed his hand over his grumbling stomach as a result of missing breakfast. Considering that he woke up with a hangover Savalith was in no mood to eat for a while. After having traveled all the way over to a random forest however changed his appetite. Entering his hunting mode Savalith looked for any animals to eat but could only find things like apples and other fruits on the trees around him. Though he preferred cooked meat Savalith would still eat some of mother natures candy if it was his last resort. He plucked out an apple from a tree branch and continued to eat them until his stomach was full.

The King Taijitu Rested it's heads on the soft ground, hidden from sight among the tall grass and trees. It had been moving through the forest slowly all morning, searching for something to eat. After finding nothing, it found out that it had nothing better to do than take a nap, or at least rest a bit. Suddenly, as if by a miracle, the two headed snake smelled something, a human reeking of alcohol. The black head opened his eyes, keeping his head below the grass. It used his infrared vision, the kind that every snake had, to see that there was indeed a living figure moving toward it. Perfect.

The man got closer, closer, until he eventually stopped and began to pick some apples from a nearby tree. This was the striking moment. While the fool stuffed it's face, Taijitu slithered across the ground in silence, positioning itself behind him though still hidden in the brush. Both heads hissed in unison, and the sound rang throughout the forest, impossible to pinpoint the source. The black head lifted, towering over the man who was barely taller than its head alone, and was quickly followed by the lift of its white head. Another hiss before the Black head striked, straight for the man.

Savalith

Savalith
After eating 7 apples in a row Savalith's stomach became full and was in no need to carry on. He burped in pleasure of a good meal that was probably the most proper breakfast he had ever since he came to the school. He threw away the apples into a man-made debris as some happened to be more tastier than the other. Savalith looked up at the apple tree once more and noticed how huge it was. It was pretty big and thick compared to your normal apple tree. One more glance at the tree and Savalith noticed one apple in particular that looked rather glossy and mouth drooling. He had to have it. Crouching down in preparation for grabbing that apple Savalith jumped with all his might onto the trees branch. As he landed on the branch however he heard a large violent sound which scarred Savalith so much so that he nearly tripped.

"What Dafa-?"

He looked down and noticed a rather large snake-like grimm that looked like it was just about to gulp him up. Within a second Savalith understood what had happened and started to shake a little. If it wasn't for his gluttony taking over his mind he would of been the victim of monsters gluttony. The thought of death froze him for a while but Savalith was able to grab his posture again and stand still on the tree branch after realizing that he had already accepted death because of the promise he made to his father. With confidence Savalith looked back at this thing and realized that it was a pretty big monster which he himself wasn't sure if he'd be able to fight alone. There was one good tactic to fight this thing with however, and that i with it's own self-inflicted injuries. If Savalith was hiding on the top of the tree's then there was a good chance it would try to continuously hit the tree until it fell down.

Savalith crouched down once again on the tree branch and placed himself in a position where he could easily jump onto the next tree when that snake-like grimm would fully timber this one. The best part would be that the tree would fall right onto it giving the thing more damage if he fully broke the tree down. Savalith kept thinking of new tactics to use and saw the advantage of being airborne in this situation and took it. At any moment Savalith could taunt this thing by throwing it some hits from above  and simply wait it out until this thing tired itself out.

Eli walked through the woods, lost in her thoughts. Yeah it would be fun to spend some time with her new team, but they haven't even been given their dorms yet. So here she was, enjoying a little stroll through the woods when the girl spotted something strange. A massive snake was about to eat a man. So that's a grimm? She took the whole thing in as it was too distracted to notice her. It was black, but if you followed the coils for a bit it bled into white.. and is that another head? Eli couldn't just stand by and let this creature eat the man so she drew her crowbar, causing it to extend and glow with a faint blue light.

Eli snuck up on the creature, but not before slathering herself with mud to hide her heat signature. Eli read in one of her parent's books that snakes could detect heat. She needed to make sure it didn't notice her. As the tree fell over on the snake Eli leaped onto the second white head and slammed her crowbar into it's eye. A bright blue burst of superheated plasma exploded from her crowbar on impact, potentially disorienting the creature and messing with it's heat vision. "It's not nice trying to eat people you know! You need to try harder than that if you want a meal!" She then slammed her crowbar twice more on the creature's eyes, sending out more blasts of plasma.

The King Taijitu pulled its head back after noticing it missed, looked up at the red and orange mass of heat began to move around among the trees like some sort of ape. Well, The Grimm was just as big as any one of those trees, So it just stood up from it's center and waited for the ideal moment to strike, a moment where he would be airborne and it would be virtually impossible to completely switch around his direction. If such a moment would occur, the black head of the snake would anticipate the direction of the momentum and meet him at one spot with his fangs. If such a leap did not happen for long enough, the head will snap at him from an angle which at the pest would get hit either or not he tried to run to jump to the next tree or stay perfectly still.

COLA

Meanwhile, the white head kept guard, as humans generally liked to travel together. It saw nothing but a yellow-ish green figure moving around, but thought nothing of it as it just looked like ambient heat. That was bad judgement on its part. It felt something land on its head, and then felt a painful blow to its eye. Hearing the voice so close to it enraged it. The Grimm stood tall, just as tall as his other half, and slammed its head down, curling its head in before ever reaching the ground. This was done with enough force to throw any normal person off of its head and clear into a nearby tree before the human could strike it again.

Savalith

Savalith
Up high in the trees Savalith noticed a strange image that seemed to be fighting the other end of the snake. He raised his hand over the top of his eyes to get a better view and asked himself "Is that.......the swamp monster?" It was a blub of moving mud that for some reason was using an odd weapon to fight. Savalith didn't understand what was going on but decided to take the chance to just watch the fight between the two. If they fought long enough than he would be able to analyze the grimms fighting style and possibly pinpoint its weaknesses out. He stood on the branch just a little while longer and saw the snake head on the other end raise its head up and slam itself into the ground.

After seeing how high the snake head could go Savalith realized that he wasn't in a safe place anymore as the head that currently had its eyes on him could easily swoop in and take a bite. This was when he made the move to jump onto the next tree available. Seconds before he made the jump however Savalith prepared the thrusters on his gauntlets so he could release the drills that were attached to 10 meter long wires. As he made the jump Savalith released the drills upwards in order for it to wrap itself onto a different tree branch so it could completely changed the momentum in his leap.

This was the second time Savalith became close to being completely devoured by the creature. As soon as it made the attack Savalith was just a few inches away from its mouth but was able to avoid it thanks to his wired drills that pulled him into the other direction and allowed him to hang onto the tree brach. At this point Savalith thought he was safe since the snake would of probably kept going until it hit itself into a tree. It would be best for Savalith not to make another move if that was the case. On the other hand it was also not the best idea to leave it to lady luck. For all he knows it could of already changed its direction and attack again.

Savalith looked back to view result of that jump. If it did change its direction towards him then Savalith would rewind the wire back into his gauntlet and allow himself to fall on his feet to avoid another hit.

The white head reared up, interrupting Eli's swings as it raised up. "Oh! Now you want to play!" With that as the Snake got to it's highest point Eli spun and started to slide on her feet down it's back. The natural arch of it providing a perfect ramp as the mud on her shoes reduced friction. As Eli slid down the neck she quickly swung her crowbar twice, striking both sides of the neck in the space of a second, and two more blue bursts of plasma scorched the creature's scales.

At the bottom of the ramp Eli did two things. First, she swung downwards at the creature's back in front of her. Second she bunched her legs underneath her and jumped. The crowbar would strike the creature, and the blast of plasma, combined with her momentum would help propel her in her jump as she flew off into the tall grass. She would quickly fall into a roll and end up lying on her belly in the mud. The mud covering her body was replaced and coated with a new layer, and would make sure that she seemed the same temperature as the environment around her. And she would remain alert of all the snake's actions. Which she could see from her position in the tall grass. Keeping track of both head's actions as she planned another strike.

She saw the man she was trying to help swinging about in the trees like some sort of monkey. Not fighting the creature at all. She would call him out on his behavior, but that would give away her position and she needed to make sure that she had the advantage for as long as possible while battling this grimm.

The treat did in fact decide that it wanted to try to jump to the next tree. this was just perfect as this would mean that the black head of the King Taijitu would be able to have its snack. All he had to do it was make one quick and easy strike... Huh? The snake pulled back immediately after missing. It glanced up to see that the human was actually able to change the momentum of his leap, though the snake could not see how. All it could see was a floating red and orange blob hanging within the multishaded green of the world.

It lowered itself to underneath the man, looking right up at it. If he moved in any way, the snake would anticipate the direction to meet it with it's jaws. If he let go, the Grimm would simply open his mouth and let him fall.

COLA

Before the white head of the King Taijitu could Throw it off, the Grimm felt the figure slide down it's back, hitting it twice with some kind of... something, the white head did not know what. It hissed loudly and as the figure slid down, It would be caught right before reaching the bottom by the snake as it began to coil around the strange object, attempting to squeeze it even if it got hit again in the process. The Grimm had no Idea about what this creature was, and it didn't matter as it had been hostile toward the being of darkness.

Savalith

Savalith
Savalith looked down as he was hanging from the tree branch. He didn't have time to look at the mud monster having its showdown with the other end of the snake. All he did was concentrate on what his next move would be. The thought of winning by using self-injury was thrown out the window. It was time to go back to square one. Getting rid of this things senses would be the best course of action for now. Savalith himself didn't know about the grimm being able to see him with heat vision and thought that it saw things just like normal people. Therefore if he wanted to get rid of his sense of sight, he'd have no choice but to attack the eyes.

As the snake was waiting with anticipation while hissing underneath its target, Savalith draw back one hand and activated the thrusts to full power. He was aiming to get its eye in one shot from above and he needed to do it quickly. His drill were making massive sounds as they kept rotating in extreme acceleration to increase their severing and speed potential. Savalith closed in where he was nine meters above the snake just so his drills could reach it.

Savalith wasn't comfortable with this method since it required him to use both his hands which could result in him not being able to move if his plan failed. This is why Savalith used the drill on his left leg to hang onto another branch if he missed or if the snake made any sudden movements. With his plan being a lot more safe now Savalith took his chances and fired away the drill onto the beast while being ready to be dragged by the wire on his left leg if things went wrong.

As Eli swung her crowbar down and attempted to leap, suddenly the snake was around her. Causing two things to happen, one she was trapped for the moment, two her crowbar kept in contact with the beast, sending a continuous stream of plasma into the beast, burning it some more. As Eli was squeezed, suddenly the mud covering her body did it's secondary job. Acting as a natural lubricant, Eli felt herself being pushed upwards very fast by the squeezing grimm. Until she shot out of the top of the coil's like a rocket. Soaring into the tall grass. "Wheeeeee~!" She landed in more mud and rolled in it with the force of the landing. Unintentionally covering herself with a fresh layer. Disguising her heat signature once again.

Eli crawled through her grass, making no discernible sound as she moved. Once again hidden from the creature she would slither up close to the white head of the snake that she was beating on and rushed out of the grass again and hopped up onto it's back, a meter or so from its head before swinging her crowbar down on it and jumping off of it again with the burst of plasma, sending her sailing into the tall grass on the other side, thank goodness this area was muddy, she could keep hiding her heat signature if she kept this up. As she would land in the grass and roll in the mud once again.

The snake waited in anticipation, Knowing that this fool of a human had no where to run now, only fall. As far as the Grimm could tell, it had won and it's prize would be a very tasty snack. It hissed in delight and waited. The person had to fall at some point. what goes up must come down... Then suddenly, The black head of the King Taijitu felt a terrible pain in it's eye. It reared its head, shaking it too, but the pain stayed. What had that been? Had the human done something? Looking through one eye, the snake noticed that there was some hind of item that was slightly cooler than the rest of the forest coming out of the Human's hand. As that what had impaled one of its eyes? Angry, the Grimm hissed and snapped at the man, though his depth perception was now a little off.

COLA

The strange creature kept burning the poor white half of the King Taijitu, as was ultimately expected. Still, the burns made it hiss in blinding fury, to the point where it wanted to just bite its head off, if of course it did have a head. Snapping the snake's own head around, it faced the creature. However, suddenly it wasn't there anymore. Where had it gone? The snake heard a "wheeeee~!" come from above and as it looked up, it saw a yellow figure sail through the air, landing in a world full of green. after that, The Grimm had no idea where the figure had gone, not until it felt something on its back, followed by an immense burning sensation that ultimately destroyed that half of the King Taijitu.

Savalith

Savalith
After performing a successful attack Savalith took advantage of having the drill lodged into the beasts eye. The drills that wrapped themselves around the tree branches were placed back into his gauntlets after the thrusts pulled them back in. With this Savalith was starting to fall towards the snakes mouth but instead of falling straight into it Savalith activated the thrusters on his hands again so that it would pull him towards the grimms eye which would allow him to land on its head. If this worked out then Savalith's next move would be to give the head one massive punch while lodging his gauntlets into it with its severing drills set on auto.

Granted that if he succeeded with this method than Savalith would be able to unequipped his gauntlet while leaving it in the snakes head while it continued to dig in deeper and deeper because of the activated razor blades. He was sure that this was going to be a slow and painful death for the thing if he was able to pull it off. In the case that Savalith for some reason couldn't perform this tactic however, than he would result in using his wired gauntlets yet again to pull him onto another near tree branch.

Eli turned around to find the white head lifeless now. SUCCESS! Now she just needed to deal with the black one! She looked at the black head to see that the man she was helping was finally fighting back against the beast. She smiled and covered herself in another layer of mud, just in case. She was going to have to shower for AGES when she got home, but this trophy would be worth it. She carefully moved up to the black half of the snake as it battled the man, started using some of her aura for something. A massive needle of darkness, the shaft as wide as Eli and it being slightly taller than the snake's body was, formed above the black section of the snake.

Without further Adieu as the needle formed and solidified in an moment Eli hopped on the creature's back and smashed it twice with her crowbar, sending out more plasma scorches on the beast. "SUFFER FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!" And with that she sent the needle of darkness plunging into the beast, it would sink through it's body all the way to the ground beneath it, and into the dirt. Pinning it much like a insect would be pinned to a board in an insect collection. If it didn't destroy the creature outright, it would pin it in place, and hurt it severely as it tried to struggle against the massive needle inside of it. If the needle got in place Eli would hop on top of it and inspect her work if it was dead, if it wasn't dead she would be planning her next move as she stood on top of the needle of darkness.

The Grimm reared its head and shook it, trying to get the man off but the damage had been done. Also, That was not the only pain it had to deal with. It felt two burns on its back, the same sesnation that its other half had felt not moments before. it quickly moved its body away, now in complete control, but it was all for naught as it experienced an immense pain in its back, pinning it to the ground. it was unable to move, unable to get away. all it could do was shake its head in hopes to throw the man off.

With his plan finally accomplished Savalith unequipped his gauntlet so it would stay active in the snakes skull. If he had stayed on the snakes head then he would of fallen off due to its consistent shaking but since Savalith was already prepared to jump away from it after he plunged his gauntlet in the grimm he bounced off the demons head while performing back handsprings to get as far away from it as he could. All he had to do now was wait for his weapon to drill into the monster until it was finished. As he retreated from the monsters head he noticed that the swamp monster he had saw before was standing on what seemed to be a giant black needle that came out of nowhere.

"Hey wait a minute, now that I get a closer look. Is that actually a person?....No way. It can't be. Doesn't make any sense why someone would cover themselves in mud to fight anyway."

Because Savalith was concentrating on fighting the black headed snake and was too far away from the swamp monster at the time he didn't hear any of the words that came out of its mouth which convinced him that this thing was a monster since he didn't hear it speak the human language. He stood across it and was prepared to fight it if necessary. He pulled up his guard so that he would be able to avoid any attacks that came from the grimm snake while keeping his eye on the swamp monster so he could strike it if it performed any sudden movements. He didn't anticipate however that a second grimm might come along.

The snake was still breathing after Eli stuck it to the ground, as it was trying to throw the other person off it's head. So she immediately turned, hopped backwards off the needle, and slammed it with her crowbar, making the darkness channel the plasma that streamed into the needle from her crowbar directly into the snake, frying it from the inside with the super heated gas. With that she landed on the snake and gave the needle a good kick with her foot, just for good measure. It's not like it could fight back much anymore now that it couldn't move. Eli wiped the mud from her face. With a flick of her hand she sent it flying away into the grass. "You snakes with your thermal vision. I had to dirty my outfit for this! It's gonna take FOREVER to get it all clean." Eli looked over the entirety of the creature, the many wounds from its battle bled pretty heavily. "You bleed nicely though, that was fun!" With a triumphant grin Eli sat down on the snake and straddled the body. "I'm taking you home with me! You'll be a fine trophy!"

As the snake writhed in agony as the drill buried itself further and further into it's eye, it felt an intense heat inside of it's body originating from the foreign object. Boiling it's insides from the intense heat coursing through it's body. The combination of the two injuries was too much for the massive beast. And to add insult to injury. One of the small creatures was freely striding on it's noble body as it passed into the great beyond. The snake let out a final hiss, and then breathed no more.

With the grimm finally falling to the floor in defeat Savalith had lowered his guard as there were no more threats towards him. He looked at the direction of what he thought was the mud monster but realized that it was a human girl that covered herself in mud for the reason of hiding her thermal body energy. He didn't know who this girl was but she seemed to of been enjoying herself while helping Savalith fight the demon.

He gradually walked towards the girl so he could deliver his gratitude towards her for aiding him in his battle but felt agitated as he got closer to the girl. Her fighting style was absurd in Savalith's eyes and the way she spoke to the grimm was bizarre. He didn't know how to approach such a person so he waited for her to introduce herself instead. He wasn't sure of what the girls actual intention was while fighting that monster but at some point it seemed that she wasn't even trying to help Savalith as she looked like she was too caught up in enjoying her fight.

As Eli was admiring her prize she saw the man approach her. She looked at him and smiled. "Glad to see you are okay mister!" She looked over the snake again. "This guy was about to eat you, you should be more careful outside of the academy. You never know when a Grimm could show up. Though I think you can take care of yourself." She looked at him again. "I'm gonna take this guy okay." It wasn't really a request as a statement of fact.

With that, she started to work with her aura again. Two massive rockets, attached to the snake via straps all along it's body, a pair of massive wings, a jet tail, and a handle for steering all formed and attached to the snake. It would be an exhausting flight home but Eli's aura could handle it. She would just have to rest for a while once she got back to the dorms. With that she smiled at the man, and winked. "See you at the academy~!" And with that, the rockets ignited, lifting the massive snake corpse, with Eli on it, into the air and sent flying towards Syne academy. Time to make herself a trophy!

(Eli can survive the flight home as it is a sustain semblance, and eventually Eli's aura will regen faster than the semblance can drain it.)
